Absolutely delicious food, really couldn?t fault it. I had the spicy crab cakes and the steak and ale pie which was absolutely gorgeous.
Good sized portions and proper chips and mushy peas.
Drinks were reasonable too, the whole meal with three drinks each was just 50.00, a lot less than most places we have been to.

We had a lovely meal here with the dogs. The service was quick even though the pub was full and they were very busy. It was a good, tasty Sunday roast. I had the vegetarian which was one of the best ever. They even had treats and water for the dogs. A free car park plus outside seating overlooking the beautiful church. Would definitely come here again.

Good menu choices, meal was of good quality and plentiful. The desserts were delicious, with my adult granddaughter saying it was the best chocolate fudge cake she had ever tasted. My raspberry bakewell tart and custard was the best I've ever tasted. At least four cask beers on offer and good lager choice as well. Service was exceptional being both friendly and attentive.
