This Wells Pharmacy is the closest thing the NHS has to a Formula 1 pit stop.
Walk in with your prescription, and before you?ve even had time to pretend you?re browsing foot creams, they?ve got it ready.
No sighing, no ?come back after lunch,? and no slow shuffle of doom behind seventeen other coughing souls.
The staff? Absolute gems.
Friendly, professional, and?brace yourself?they actually know what they?re doing.
None of that unsolicited advice from Derek the Counter Wizard who once read the back of a Lemsip box and now reckons he?s qualified to perform a bypass. Just calm, capable service that doesn?t make you question your life choices.
Compared to the other chemist down the road, where time stands still and you leave with your medication and mild existential dread, Wells is a revelation. Five stars, no notes, and a well deserved clap for being a pharmacy that functions as it should.

Very busy and had a bit of a wait however when I got served the staff was very helpful.
He added my phone number so when the prescription is ready next time, I will get a text message to let me know its ready, very handy indeed.

Have run out of blister pack meds 6 days ago, these meds are life preserving meds over 40 tabs a day, been trying to phone for at least 2hrs a day over 50 calls a day and no answer.its disgusting that they egnor phone, have rung another pharmacy to get help I can't get there as disabled and house bound and no relatives near by would like someone in authority to contact me

Visited both well pharmacy on overpool Road and loxdale drive for repeat prescription, antibiotics and flu jab - all within the space of 1-2 week.
Order repeat and get a text to say its ready , as were the antibiotics. Go on lunch and it's closed. Go later that day only to get home and half my prescription was missing. Go the next morning and it's closed again due to no pharmacist! Go a week later for flu jab to loxdale Road, booked and paid for over 2 weeks in advance. Get a reminder email. Arrive and the lady says "we don't do flu jabs here". I've booked..."yea I don't know why the system isn't working". Didn't even bother coming from out the back with a sincere apology. The place is a disgrace. Management should feel embarrassed at such a circus.

they never answer the phone too busy been short staffed the excuse
if you are housebound as I am if they do answer you then wait a week if lucky for prescrpition to be delivered

My granddaughter took my prescription in this morning and ask if it could be delivered,the woman behind the counter gave her the prescription back .I've always had it delivered.

I was very disappointed and appalled by the conditions of the pharmacy it was very dirty and badly looked after. The corner of the floor had dirt caked up and there was rubbish everywhere in a neighbourhood like that there shouldn?t be a pharmacy in that condition. This really reflects how poorly the NHS is being handled.
