visited Toolstation recently and unfortunately had a poor experience. The woman working there (with ginger hair) came across as very grumpy and unhelpful. Instead of offering assistance, her attitude made the visit unpleasant.
I think staff should be welcoming and approachable even just a smile can make a big difference. If she doesn?t enjoy working with customers, perhaps she?d be better suited somewhere else. Hopefully Toolstation can improve on customer service, as it really lets the store down when staff are unfriendly.

I love using Ellesmere Port Toolstation. Always very attentive and my online orders are always ready for collection within minutes.

Superb service from Babs and Sammy. The girls went above and beyond today to ensure we had a faulty item replaced, allowing us to get back to work Monday.

hello we ordered a water heater Friday told be here saturday never came went back to the store to be told monday went back to the store to be told not arrived and we would be informed by Email went online to track my order low and behold it was in the store no Email to inform us so I went down to get the water heater when I arrived to have the unit installed the supplied fitting would not screw down one fitted and I tried the working fitting on both the hot and cold inlet valve so the supplied fitting was faulty I went back to the store and was met with complete indifference whether i wanted the unit just to be told bring it back for a refund not any concern we have been without hot water since saturday as the unit was expected to be here not happy

Needed some contact adhesive and hinges, as luck would have it, I was passing and I stopped in store, thumbed through the massive catalogue and found what I needed, great stuff and as always reasonably priced.

Excellent service. I placed an order to collect on Xmas Eve eleven minutes before their closing time (which I didn't realise at the time). I was really keen to get the items so drove straight to the store after I checked the closing time. I arrived three minutes before their closing time. They had the order ready & I was able to collect it. Having experienced multiple incidents s so other trailers where staff lock doors 10 minutes before closing or refuse entry I was impressed. I was able to do the job I needed to do that evening so well done to the staff here.

Awful customer service today.Quite unusual for this store, now just full of arrogant kids who haven't a clue and refuse to help.Went to Screwfix who were more than happy to help and found what I needed in seconds.Customer Service costs nothing.

Used Toolstation a few times, but I recently ordered a few items from them, over £500 worth. Ordered online, plenty of stock available, got a confirmation e:mail confirming the order and a text confirming the order was ready to collect to then find out that they missed off the bigger part of the order due to no stock (they refunded it before I got to the store, no problem there) but in this day and age, with the inventory system available there isn't a good excuse to show stock online that isn't available (in fact I'm sure there is a law against it) and then not even tell you that the order couldn't be fulfilled. Not store staffs fault, but if you're ordering something important from Toolstation, maybe try Screwfix instead.
