I was very disappointed with the experience at this TGI Fridays today.
First, the atmosphere was far from welcoming. The place was messy, with tissues scattered on the floor in a makeshift attempt to block a draft/flood coming from the back door. Despite this, it was still quite chilly and I had to keep my jacket on throughout the meal, even though I was wearing a long-sleeve top. To make matters worse, there were cobwebs visible on the ceiling above our table, adding to the overall sense of neglect.
Service was another major letdown. We waited over an hour for our food and it became apparent that the staff had completely forgotten about our table. Diners who arrived after us were served first, yet there was no acknowledgment or apology for the delay, even after we raised the issue multiple times with the staff. This lack of communication and accountability was very frustrating.
When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm. My starter (mac and cheese) and main (sesame chicken strips with chips) were both disappointing. The chicken wasn?t even cut into strips, was overcooked to the point where the coating was hard, and lacked sesame seeds as advertised. Pieces at the bottom were also poorly coated in sauce.
The cleanliness of the facilities (both ladies and gents?) was similarly poor with tissues scattered everywhere and the loos being dirty.
Overall, this visit was a major disappointment. From the messy environment and poor service to the lackluster food and untidy restrooms, the Cheshire Oaks TGI failed on pretty much every front. Needless to say, I won?t be returning to this branch and I wouldn?t recommend it to others. It?s massively overpriced/definitely not worth it.

I visited TGI Fridays on Friday 3rd January, arriving before 16:00. We were seated promptly as the restaurant wasn?t busy, but we were placed in a corner where there was a noticeable draft. This was awkwardly blocked by a damp tissue, which did little to make the seating comfortable.
We placed our order shortly after being seated, but after waiting 45 minutes with melted ice in our drinks, we noticed several new tables receiving their food. We asked a nearby waiter for an update on our order, but were told, ?I?ll ask your waiter as I don?t know your order.? There was no apology or recognition of the delay.
Two of us eventually received lukewarm starters, which seemed to have been completely forgotten about, while the other three of us were left waiting without even cutlery. After a full hour, our food arrived ? hurriedly prepared with burnt edges. When we mentioned the hour-long wait, there was no apology or attempt to acknowledge the issue.
Overall, the service was poor, the food was disappointing, and the lack of customer care was frustrating. A truly disappointing experience, made worse by the uncomfortable seating and neglectful service.

Really disappointed! Please don?t order the garlic fries unless you want fries drowning in garlic butter. We were expecting fries with pieces of garlic or garlic salt, not a pool of butter and soggy fries. The corn dogs were good however too small for the price. The cheese donuts didn?t contain much cheese and were also way over priced when you get 5 for nearly £10. Overpriced and not worth the hype!

I was extremely disappointed with the substandard meal and, more significantly, the unacceptable level of service. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, numerous tables remained unclean, and the floor was littered with debris. Following our order for starters and main courses, drinks arrived promptly; however, subsequent drink requests were overlooked. Furthermore, cutlery was absent, and requests for sauce required repeated prompting. Our meal was unsatisfactory; we departed without consuming our beverages due to the unacceptable quality of the food, which was excessively greasy and overcooked. I would not recommend this TGI Fridays. Mon 30th Dec at 16.40pm.

Just finished the most wonderful bottomless brunch here. The food was beautiful and the service was second to none. Joanne was a fantastic host and went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a fabulous boxing day celebrating here. Thank you so much. Will definitely be back xx

Great place, Foods a 4 what you expect it's always good quality and well prepared. Service is 10/10 Jake the first time was amazing honestly couldn't of done any better. The 2nd time was just as good unfortunately I've forgotten the servers name but she was loverly. Atmosphere was a 3 due to it not being very busy but that could also be a plus. Music is always popping i do think the restaurant could use a decor and seating update.

Been coming here for years and it gets worse every time I visit. Booked a table for my 5 year olds birthday, and poor is an understatement. Ordered some drinks including a milkshake and after it was made, was informed there are no straws?.. so they brought out a spoon? Asked for some coloring for my daughter?. After the third time of asking, they put pencils on the table and nothing to color on?
Went to the toilet and no toilet paper in any of the cubicles. Ordered strawberry ice cream, and you guessed it, no strawberry ice cream.
The mains we did order were ok at best, the lady serving us was good to be honest, but then she went home. Asked for the bill and the price was a surprise, then we realized we were charged for items we didn?t have drinks, and food! Spoke to a Jamaican lad who didn?t seem to understand a word we were saying, and came back and said he had taken £3 off, at this point we just wanted to go home so paid the bill even though the extra items totaled over £10 extra!!!
Absolute joke, avoid!!!
