I arrived at 1745 on 23/9/24 with 2 adults and a small child. Restaurant had a few customers had one waiter and was advised as he was on his own we were unable to be served until after 6 when more staff arrive which is fine and understandable but we asked if we could sit in the restaurant until then on one of the many empty tables so we can get the child settled . Waiter asked a superior who said no we should leave and come back. Not good customer service.

Visited today on a busy Saturday night. Staff were very polite with quick service. Ordered the macaroni cheese from the new menu as a main course. When it came to the table, I started eating and a couple of minutes later a waitress came to apologise as I had been given the side order portion by mistake. - The waitress kindly offered me another side order of macaroni cheese to make up for it so it would effectively become a main meal portion. However, I instead ordered the side of crispy potatoes. Kindly when the bill came, I realised they only charged me for the Mac and Cheese side portion and had taken the crispy potatoes of my bill.
I thought this was incredibly kind even though my order was wrong as I would happily have paid for the potatoes as I had eaten them.

Wanted to ask if they could do takeaways and everytime we tried to ask they kept ignoring, walking past us and saying they are "too busy". Your staff has a HORRIBLE attitude

Went to PE on Tuesday, lovely staff and nice food. Charged twice on the card machine however. Went to eat there on return leg today Friday 9th at 4:30pm and we were asked if we had a reservation?! It?s in a motorway services area, who makes a reservation?! Just walked by the window and it?s still empty, we would?ve been in and out. Please hurry up with the duplicate refund also?

We wanted a table for 4 at 12.45, today. Waited at the door for over 5 minutes for someone to come and take us to a table ( there was plenty of empty ones) when a member of staff finally acknowledged us, we were asked if we had a reservation, when we said no, they said the next available table was at 2pm,!!! Obviously we left, as did 3 more families behind us, all saying there was loads of empty tables, and we would have finished eating by 2pm. I told the girl she was turning away a lot of money, obviously pizza express can afford to run their restaurants half empty. We went to Eds diner, where the staff are very friendly and helpful, and don't have empty tables they won't let you have. Won't be using pizza express at cheshire oaks again.

RACIST EMPLOYEES, RUBBISH SERVICE.
I had a bad visit to Pizza Express. Where the employees treated us with racism. Since we arrived and were given the menu, no one cared about us. It took us a while until our request was registered. When I spoke to the employee, she responded rudely that she has another table. Then the food was brought incomplete. We kept calling the employees to bring us what was missing.
I also had two girls with me. When English children come, immediately they are given colors and a paintbook EXEPT my children. we asked the employee to bring it but no one brought anything!! We also asked for water, but she didn't serve us.
In the end, when paying the bill, we were surprised that an additional amount was added. When we spoke to the employee, she said it's not possible to refund!
Every time we call an employee, she says wait and leaves and does not come back to us. The experience is very bad. My children were extremely upset because they noticed that we're treated differently

Pizza Express is one of my favourite places for pasta, and sadly both Pizza express restaurants by where we lived are now closed down.
So it was lovely to spot one in Cheshire Oaks.
The food was nice, although some of the pasta was under cooked, lots of hard pasta in mine and partners dishes. Also order a Margarita cocktail and the glass came half full.
Overall nice food.
The chilli prawn starter with dough balls was really nice.

Didn?t get past ordering stage , awful service staff member seemed to not want us to use 02 priority app , having not read the terms herself , getting all the information incorrect thus making it a fraught experience . Never again . Ruined our day . Gave our business to nandos instead !

The Baby changing rooms are the best I?ve ever been into. Clean, Baby changing Matt and a Mobile.. this might not sound like anything unexpected.. However normally you are happy if these are clean.
