The carvery which was cooked by Thomas was the absolute best, I never go back for more but it was so nice I couldn?t resist a little bit more, he was very friendly and chatty as were all the other members of staff. Well done Thomas top marks!!!

Came here today for a small family gathering. It was a lovely pub, our first time visiting. The food was stellar and staff are lovely. My only complaint would be the strange differences in price between ordering items on the QR code and at the bar. We were originally planning to order from the QR code, whilst one person had successful ordering, for some reason we couldn?t, we went to the bar and waited quite awhile as the staff were quite busy which is fine. However, the total from the QR code and the bar was off slightly. Fish and chips - doubled up with chips was for some reason more expensive at the bar. Whilst not a major problem, it?s a bit odd. Orange juice was also more expensive at the bar.
The food did take a little while to come out, but worth the wait. Very nicely cooked. Two of us ordered desert and it came very quickly.
Overall I would come back in future. Would be great to get the prices sorted between the QR code and ordering at the bar as worked out more expensive in the end as it didn?t work.

When we arrived not very busy but employee taking orders at the bar was very slow. 30 minutes later we were asked by a different employee a question about our order (my daughter?s meal). Then another ten minutes later the order arrived and was incorrect. I was told it had been put through the till wrong. Another ten minutes passed and by which time myself, my husband and my son had nearly finished our meals. My daughter was not able to finish her meal as we had to leave so had to ask for a container to take the food away. I found the staff slow, not at all interested in making sure we were happy and the food was not worth the money.

Came to celebrate a family members 50th birthday. Found it strange that you would put another party in the same room. The carvery was literally stone cold. The kebab sure isn?t worth £15. Servers weren?t really responsive to our complaints. Shocking really for the price!
