“Halfords Ellesmere Port are really helpful and professional. However Halfords phone service is dreadful and really lets the company down. I phoned thinking I'd be put through to the store but ended up with a customer centre. I wanted to book a bike service which I had never done before and the whole conversation was problematic and confusing. I explained what I wanted which I thought would be easy unfortunately this wasn't the case. She talked quite fast so I had to keep asking her to repeat things. I was eventually booked in for today and got a message on my phone but no confirmation email. We got to Halfords this morning, they had no appointment booked and said before a service they do an assessment. Wasted morning and £7.50 for the train journey. To top it off, the phone was still on so I thought she wanted to confirm but then heard her say 'that was a difficult customer'!!! Even though it's inconvenient I will book instore in the future. I'd like to give one star but it is in no way the shop's fault.”
