DO NOT USE PHOTO MACHINE QR CODE in Asda Timpsons Ellesmere Port
Been scammed. QR code goes to scam site 'Rapid Media'. Tries to authorise £1 fee to get you started. Shows on bank statement as 'CBYBILL' Was declined by bank but then went through but would let me do anything else. Next day £59.99 debited again, CBYBILL. Barclays starting recovery process for me and informed me it's a recurring payment monthly that's been set up. Had to have new card issued. Timpsons staff just say don't use 3rd part QR scanner on Android Phone but I have always used a trusted QR app with no problems until at Timpsons. Suspiciously whilst I was attempting to use machine Timpsons staff came and covered over card machine attached to photo printer? Timpsons staff and Asda staff were not interested in hearing about the scam.

I wouldn?t advise anyone to purchase fruits from Asda at any cost as they sell expired stuff and as I brought home I found it had fungus all over it.Can anyone help me how I can report Asda as they sell expired stuff after date as well which can be life threatening for anyone who consumes it. I mistakenly got a fruit box dated 7th dec but the day I purchased it was 11th dec. I want to report it to the health department as it?s something that shouldn?t be practised in a store like Asda.

Your average Asda to be perfectly honest. George section is good enough. The cafe is overpriced and bang average if not below average for what you get and pay for, mostly because the supplier in question (Compass) is infamously known for overpriced food and drink.
My biggest gripe however is forcing one way systems and reducing accessibility routes because the store is paranoid about shoplifting and would rather protect its profits than make it easier for people with accessibility and/or baby changing needs.
Can't turn right and go straight ahead anymore from the entrance, you actually have to go inside the store properly and go through self service checkouts to actually get to the ground floor disabled/baby change toilets, optician or pharmacy.
The staff however are perfectly fine, but shop here out of necessity, not need.

Refused the over 60s winter warmer deal because they did not have any soup or rolls...
Asked for just the coffee and again refused. Told it's not possible.
2 degrees outside and needed a hot drink.

Ordered a big order, including Christmas things. This order was in excess of £200. Took the money failed to deliver. Rang the helpline, rubbish issued a refund no explanation just lost it with me. Left with no shopping all weekend. Autistic son who cant get around the supermarkets so I absolutely rely on this service. Got my cash back through my bank, then asda have put a minus on my account because of the refund. It?s them who stole from me! Ive used asda over 20 years. Never shopped else where. That time has now come to an end. I spent over £500 a month with them.
Anyhoo? ordered from sainsburys and turns out theres more choice of their cheaper items online and my 2 week shopping is £50 less!! British Sainsbury's and they're not trying to fleece the British customer, pretty much like every oversees corporation operating in the uk right now.
Il be sticking to Sainsbury's from now on. Should have changed years ago.

The other day I was in Asda, looking around upstairs for some clothes and a member of security, for no reason whatsoever, has a go at me and says that I've already been the toilet and to leave (I hadn't been the toilet and I had only just entered the shop). I can understand that some teenagers go in to mess about, but I had only just got there and was already told to leave. This is profiling and it isn't ok. Please sort out your staff.

Huge super centre. I have been here multiple times amd come here every week for shopping. There is so much variety in every section. I love the clothing section. It has a good variety with regular fresh stocks. Stocks are not always replenished but this happens very rarely. The latest star addition was the halal section in meats. Small but its there atleast.

I went in yesterday morning . Picked some chips up from the freezer . They were so soft they tuned to mush. I pointed it out to the lady stocking the freezer . She said they would re freeze and be ok . I pointed out they were completely defrosted so shouldn?t be re frozen . She said she didn?t put them there and proceeded to place them in the cupboards above to freeze them quicker . I wasn?t happy and asked somebody else for a supervisor. They got the supervisor. It was the woman that was re packing the defrosted food .
She then proceeded to tell me that the salt and vinegar chips were meant to be soft like this .
Lies .
So not only breaking food safety regulations. But insulting the intelligence of somebody . I would complain at customer service . But I am sure it would not get dealt with as this was a supervisor. So I thought it best to review and warn people instead . Check the frozen food or just avoid it . I was told by somebody ,there the cages often get left out and this happens .

I visited this store today, I'm not from the area. Went to the cafe for a coffee before starting my shopping. Cafe mostly empty apart from a few tables taken.
3 young girls were sat chatting- they seemed pleasant not troublesome at all. A staff member from the cafe short haired lady went over snd saud if your not buying anything get out.! They immediately got up and left- no back chat at all.
I was really shocked at how they were spoken to when sat causing no issues. Their table was not needed. They may have needed sanctuary and a safe space.
Needless to say- I shopped elsewhere!

I like this store, you can always find everything. The only minus is paid parking.
