Ate there last night and felt I had to recommend this place. Terrific menu, delicious food, genuinely friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. From the lead-by-example landlady to everyone in the kitchen and behind the bar, everything was done with care, pride and attention to detail. This place deserves several medals.

I really enjoyed my Sunday Lunch today, the picture is of Sandra tucking in! Portions sizeable, but really good food, lovely home made Yorkshire puddings and slow cooked pork with crackling, may consider small portion next time so we can try a dessert!

Super Sunday Roast, with a beautifully cooked sirloin of beef by Geoff the chef and fantastic service by Diane and team washed down with a delicious appasimento shared with lovely friends made for a perfect Sunday afternoon- just try it ?.

It doesn?t matter what day of the week it is, the service and food quality is always spot on, and the regularly updated ?specials? ensure we?re always tempted by something new alongside regular favourites. Really pleased to have this place on our doorstep.

Although this was our first visit it will not be our last. Such helpful and informative staff, nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel so welcome and the food was simply stunning. Nothing pretensions, every plate thoroughly thought out and perfectly executed. The young chef is an absolute credit and I'm sure destined for a very successful career. I finished with the cheesecake and it was the best I've ever had. The dining room had a calm atmosphere and was lovely and quiet. Overall a really nice experience and I can't recommend the White Horse highly enough. Thanks guys and we'll see you soon.

Went Wednesday 23rd April 12.00 noon. Been a few times before but this time was to dine. Two of us and we were not disappointed. Fabulous mains and Fabulous desserts. We opted to have beers and wine which were both delicious. The service was brilliant. Lovely pub and cannot recommend it enough. Many thanks to all the team. Can't wait for next visit.

We had lunch here today for the first time
Great menu choices and a specials board
We had the fillet steak and blue cheese salad which was absolutely delicious
Staff are super friendly and helpful and everywhere is spotless. Car park too!

The food at this pub is extremely good and Geof the chef clearly makes a lot of effort with his cooking. Today I had the burger and the chips, both of which were amazing but my wife had the seafood platter which she said was the best she's ever eaten. We have an excellent fish restaurant near us which is also a fishmongers. That was our previous high standard, but the White House is better. We're now thinking about when to book for the Sunday lunch because we know it's going to be good.

The owners are super friendly and nothing is too much bother! The pub is nicely decorated inside plus there's a lovely quiet beer garden out the back, the place is dog friendly and although we've only popped in for drinks twice, next time we visit we'll definitely try the food (as it sounded delicious)!
