We have visited many times now, one of our fav pubs to go in the area. Great feel, lovely food and wonderful staff . Would be e en better if the menu had some more plant based choice.

So glad we chose here today for my nans birthday. The fish and chips were the best ive ever had, definitely worth every penny. The staff were really lovely with my little boy & really polite and attentive, we will definitely be returning & recommending to others, Many thanks! x

We visited the pub on Thursday 14th August and were very disappointed as it has previously been one of our favourite pubs. Despite booking well in advance and also being asked later by the pub for confirmation of our booking we waited an hour from ordering until our food was brought. Once seated we were warned that the wait would be 45 minutes and was actually a whole hour.
We do not consider the fault to be in any way with the staff on that day. It appears to be a fault with the booking system which we understand is beyond the control of the pub staff.
The pub was extremely noisy, possibly caused in part by the numbers of people waiting for a long time for their meals.

Excellent country pub, great selection of beers and wines the food is very good both in quality and quality. Loverly location and a large free car park, what's not to like.

We went here when visiting my brother. and picked it because practically everything on the menu is gluten free. I was blown away by the choice, and the quality. Normal folk cannot taste the difference. Great service too.

Beautiful pub with a vast array of drinks and a wonderful restaurant. When I went with friends the sun was shining and we had a scrummy off the BBQ pulled pork beef burger, it was delicious. Service is excellent with plenty of glass collectors and the pub was very busy, would like to try the restaurant at some point, the food loved amazing. Give it a go, it?s busy so it must be doing something right! The only point is that the car park is quite small so we had to park on a busy main road, but that?s a small price to pay.

A lovely friendly country pub which serves an excellent choice of food. Pleasant atmosphere and great outdoor space. Welcoming staff, would definitely return.

Had lunch here today. It's a beautiful pub and the food was good. The staff though were all miserable didn't see one of them smile once.

Lovely pub and the staff are excellent
Food today was poor, had the fish and chips and they come with frozen chips, i can go to Wetherspoons for that,
£18 you would expect proper chips
Tinned peas too!
Partners wasnt much better either
Guinness tasted watery aswell
I'll give it a miss for a while
Hopefully it improves

Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food is not cheap but it's good quality and cooked well.
It's got lovely outside space and a pond.
We would definitely return.
