We have visited many times now, one of our fav pubs to go in the area. Great feel, lovely food and wonderful staff . Would be e en better if the menu had some more plant based choice.
The Hand and Trumpet is a decent sized pub, seating about 150, with classic old floors, rugs, open fires, books and old furniture. There's a sizeable garden with a large pond, and we've built a deck out over the rear of the pub which overlooks the grounds. It's a stunner when the sun comes out.
