We went to the Broughton to celebrate & it didn't disappoint! The decor is stunning, the food was delicious & the service was fantastic! We were in a smaller dining area which did get quite loud as there was a large group next to us but it didn't ruin our meal. I would highly recommend a visit!

Wheelchair accessibility: Bar man happy to open the side gate giving access to a ramp at the back of the pub. Made to feel very welcome.

Excellent lunch, 2 courses was a lot of delicious food, the staff attentive and knowledgable. Careful to advise on potential allergy. Service 10/10. Really made lunch special. Going again for dinner as it was, well simply fantastic. Recommend the Scotch Egg starter, what a surprise this was, the birthday girl had the Lamb, I had sea bass, both delicious.

We had a fantastic dinner and would definitely recommend it. Both the cuisine and the service were excellent! Alfie and Laurence deserve special recognition, they both provided excellent customer service and were very kind and attentive.

an absolute awful experience. We received a gift card for the Paragon Group and decided based off reviews we chose the Broughton. Bad mistake. Food came cold, ordered thick chips and got fries, steak had no taste was extremely burnt on the outside. No flavour to anything. Salt and Pepper fries did not taste like salt and pepper, like they had just been seasoned at the top few fries. Not to mention 3 drinks & 3 mains £80 + a service charge we had to tell them to take off due to lack of communication, no ask of was the food ok. Staff were not careful walking around with food, knocking my son?s coat off the back of the chair. Very very expensive for a less than average meal.

Nearly everything is cooked with garlic so if you are garlic intolerant there is not much choice and if you don?t like fish there is no choice. Very disappointing from an otherwise very good restaurant.

We went for my birthday and the service was impeccable. Our waiter Jordan was worth his weight in gold. He deserves so much credit, he completely made our night. He was attentive and polite! Please let him know how much we appreciated him. The food was out of this world as always. Thank you for a lovely evening, you made our day and we will be back again and again ??
