Went into the Crewe branch on Delamere Street Crewe yesterday (28/07/25) at about 9.30 and was very impressed by the friendly and efficient staff I encountered. The two ladies that served me (one was called Jenny I think) were so helpful on the desk. They made me feel relaxed and really listened to my requests. So patient and very efficient. I would recommend this branch.

I went into the bank with several post office issue clear money bags containing £20 in £1 coins in each one. I explained that I had had these at home for a while now and would like to deposit them into my account. The person who served me, Lisa then went on to tell me I had to place these in the almost identical Santander clear bank bags and sent me off to sit at a table in the bank doing this in front of everyone. When id finished she came up to me to tell me the system was down and that I should go to the post office. Throughout all these interactions she was incredibly patronising and called me sweety and darling over and over. I've lived on 3 continents in my life and Lisa might genuinely be the absolute worst person I've ever met when it comes to customer service and professionalism. It's quite clear when reading the other reviews someone else has described Lisa and described a similar interaction with her. Santander really need to seriously consider sending Lisa on a training course involving customer interaction.

The staff here were amazing!! I popped in with some questions about a saver account and one lady in particular (so sorry I didn?t get your name!) was fantastic - she was incredibly knowledgeable and knew the Ts&Cs of the accounts inside out. Definitely recommend heading in if you?re unsure on anything.

Absolutely awful! Im a proud owner of a ltd landscaping company with over 150 5 star reviews and ended up being threatened with a 1 star review because of Santander, a customer of mine deposited some money into my account to pay for materials for a job I have taken on, upon paying for the materials my card was declined as Santander had placed a block on my account because they wanted proof that the funds was mine? I was asked to call so I did and I was told I had to ask MY CUSTOMER for a bank statement FROM MY CUSTOMER with their personal details to send to my bank to prove the funds was mine? long story short I waited over a week (job being over a week behind schedule) for them to then allow me to access my account which I withdrawn the funds and close my account, heard a lot of good things with Santander and was genuinely hoping to use them for my day to day spending plus my business but I need reliability and that?s definitely not Santander!!!!

Have always found the staff to be really friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.I've noticed the last couple of times I've been in that they have 2 staff working the cashier desk, meaning wait times have reduced, which is a positive.The staff are efficient and talk through what they are doing when dealing with you, so you have a full understanding of the processes, giving that extra piece of mind.Highly recommend using this branch.

I had some trouble depositing money at the atm and as I was asking for help and unsure of what kind of account I had. The women I spoke to, shorter with curly hair, was speaking to me in an extremely condescending tone "you've been in before haven't you, I've explained the difference between the accounts lots of times before to you, but if you want me to explain them again to you I will" in the most condescending tone I have ever personally heard.Her tone has never changed and I've visited plenty of times. Speaking to me like I'm extremely thick. Arrogant. Lecturing me on what I was doing and the kind of account I had, she was wrong on that too. Very disrespectful and I wish to never speak to her again. What if I was disabled and had trouble remembering things? Then again she probably wouldn't change her tone. I'm considering complaining. It was not a good experience and has left a very negative impression for me. The women on the till was a stark contrast in demeanour and was very helpful and friendly. Would be a 1 star if not for the women on the till.

Long queues due to having only two cashiers and having to wait behind a wall where the staff cannot see you.I've banked with them since the Abbey National days and this is the worst branch I've ever visited.
