The evening team who was on tonight (Mother?s Day) were so polite and couldn?t have done more for us! Shame on the other customers who were very rude to the girls over something so minor, they dealt with them with respect and handled it professionally, we?ll be returning for sure! Waited over 1 hour on a Sunday evening at 8pm for 4 main meals to arrive. Gave up in the end, got a full refund and left. Wouldn't ever go back.

Had a lovely meal with my mum and mother in law for a pre mothers day meal the carvery was brilliant was nice to see my mum enjoy it so much atmosphere was good and staff very welcoming especially joe many thanks and we will be back

Came for carvery on the 20th of March for our 60th anniversary. Big mistake! Totally ignored by the fella serving the carvery. Came out and saw us waiting as we rung the bell then went back in the backroom for a couple of minutes. Very rude with a surly manner. Obviously doesn't like his job in my opinion. Told us there was only turkey available (we weren't told this when we placed our order at the bar!) Very little veg on offer. The onion gravy was a joke. There were 2 dishes of gravy and the 'server' just plonked some raw onion in one dish and didn't even stir them in and left them floating on the top. We also heard the same man say to someone that they were having some sort of competition to see how many servings they could get out of one joint of meat! Judging by the single , thinly sliced piece we had each, he'd definitely win! Overall, a very disappointing experience with staff who clearly do no want to be there. Hospitality is clearly not your staff's forte. Ask you can guess, we will not be returning!

Went today for carvery they only had turkey there was nobody carving so there was a bell it said press bell for service so I pressed the bell the man who carves the meat come out looked at us and went back in kitchen we waited then I pressed button again he then come out and said you should only press it once he was just miserable I felt like telling him to stick his bell and his meal you shouldn't be serving customers if you're miserable

Have been to your restaurant after 2 years absence. Love all the veg selection that you have, but your guy you had serving on the meat today, left us waiting for 15mins while he had to top up all veg etc, a man and women in front of us were waiting, separately as one had been served, and his wife had not, unfortunately his meal was cold by the time his wife was eventually served her meat. My point in this post is, could one of the other kitchen staff not carried on carving the meat, will he did the refilling ?. My partner was also served before me, and had finished his meal prior to me being served. Let's be honest here if you go out in a group, you don't expect to be 15mins behind the rest of your party. On the upside the food was hot, tasty etc, just very poor service on the carving section.. Meat portions weren't up to much either.

Previously left a review saying lovely staff - well I clearly spoke to soon came for a return carvery visit and staff were rude and vile.

Turned up for breakfast at 11:15. Couldn?t order free flow coffee and breakfast was no longer available, menu states served until 12 (along with the coffee). Not allowed to order anything off the main menu either so it was carvery or nothing. Who wants to eat carvery at 11:15 I don?t know but it?s been sat there for 35minutes while we were told we couldn?t order anything. Not sure why they don?t just tell you when you come in that you can only have carvery.

Absolutely nightmare of a restaurant. If you would like to have your dinner in a chaotic kindergarten / daycare setting, in a casino meets retirementhome facility, this is the place for you. Also hope you enjoy eating alone because everyone is getting their food at different times, no information from the staff about the waiting time.
Some of the staff were friendly and smiled as they passed your table for the 50th time with food that wasn't for you, but the hostess herself was pure misery incarnated as a human.
Absolute sensory nightmare!
Kid-friendliness: If you don't have kids or like kids, stay away. The restaurant feels like a scene straight out of the Home Alone movies. Pure chaos.

Met a colleague here for breakfast.
Staff were friendly and helpful and very attentive.
The breakfast was self service and plentiful. It was well cooked and tasted nice.
Toast was available but only 1 toaster for use and no jam or marmalade which was a shame.
Was not rushed and had plenty of time for a relaxing chat.
The coffee was from a communal thermos and a coffee machine would be great.
