Visited for Mother?s Day as a table of 5 and had a lovely meal. Milly was very attentive and her service was impeccable. We were very well looked after and the food was very tasty too.

Pretty average all round.
The service was fine, and it was pretty pleasant in the dining half of the pub.
The food however was beyond underwhelming. The menu appears to be overly ambitious for what they were able to do.
The dishes I had, over promised on the menu, and under delivered on the table.
Straight up calamari which was served in nice crispy rings, unfortunately all clumped and stuck together, with the saddest little dried up bit of lemon you?ve ever seen. According to the menu served with aioli but in reality garlic mayo out of a tub by the taste.
?Chicken Milanese?, dreadful. Dry chicken breast panfried in flour, cunningly served with the burned and blackened side down so you don?t realise until you?ve tucked in, generally unseasoned and boring but at least it was £19 so it?s worth mentioning afterwards
All beyond average, would have rather cooked at home.

Did have a positive review for this place originally but I recently had the worst meal ever. Massive wait.. when the food finally came it was burnt cold and not fit for consumption. Ruined the evening for our party of 11. Ended up going to McDonald's as the wait for the second lot of food was also taking too long..

Had a Sunday roast. Reasonable price for 2 courses £21. Food was ok though, a little lacklustre. Gravy was suspiciously Bisto like. Beef was good quality & nicely cooked. Yorkshire pudding good. Veg medium standard so, overall hit & miss.
Service from staff was good.

Milly served us today and was lovely. The food again was lovely but I was just a little disappointed with the little amount of pork that I received for the price I paid. I would certainly come back and try other dishes

First time we went here the food was lovely, especially the steak. However, we have since been back and the experience we had was unfortunately the opposite. We came back as a party of 6 and some ordered steaks again, amongst other items on the menu, this time around the steaks were not cooked how asked and the steaks were tough. The other food was below par as well and the service was incredibly slow and there were mistakes made with drinks ordered, which is understandable when busy, however this was not the case and it took time to rectify the mistakes. We were also sat in an area that was cold which made the experience uncomfortable. It?s a shame as it has put us off coming back despite a positive first impression on our first visit.

Went for team christmas lunch so all meals were pretty ordered.
Food wasn't great for the price we paid but I do get the feeling that the issue was down to the amount of people we had together and the restaurant not being used to this.
I'm sure if you had a table of 4 it would be great, just not if you have a large party of over 20.

Went here for family lunch on Sunday, I will say everybody's food was good apart from mine......I had the worst scragg end of a fillet steak, I asked for medium rare it came tough as old boots on one side and rare on other side and cold.....as was the other food on the plate.
Worst meal I have had in a long time.
Best thing was the pepper sauce which I didn't want......
