Staff were nice, but the food was cold and the portion sizes small in comparison with the prices. Very disappointed as we went to enjoy a special occasion with family.

We decided to have a meal at the beefeater for my brothers 40th, and him and my nephew decided to have the ribs.
Next day they have food poisoning and now are being sick and off work for days.
Good job for me I had a burger which wasn?t that great either, I would avoid this place as who knows how long the food has been stored back there.
It?s probably like something of Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmares. Put it this way there sick is now a nightmare and lack of wages thanks beefeater!!!

Staff were friendly prices not bad but food was very poor. Fish was greasy and lasagne swimming in water. Won't be going back.

The food was nice, the gammon a little tough, but that's not uncommon with gammon. The place itself is nice and well spread out. They were really good for gluten free, had a separate menu and separate fryers for the chips.
What made the experience even better was our server, a lovely man called Peter (I believe). He was great- friendly, helpful and funny. Love that guy, thank you for the warm service Peter.
Dietary restrictions: Very good for coeliac, have a separate menu for gluten free options.

We had breakfast there. Plenty of food for the money, loads in fact so great value. Reasonable coffee. Friendly staff. Help yourself to the food. Food decent quality, not kept very warm in my opinion, it cooled quickly by the time I was sitting eating it.

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I?ve had in years. Beefeater should be embarrassed by the abysmal service, horrific food, and questionable drink quality they served up.
First off, we were left sitting at our table for a ridiculous 23 minutes before anyone bothered to bring us a drink. Almost half an hour of sitting and waiting just to get served ? and to make matters worse, when our drinks did arrive, the beer tasted sour and stale. They replaced it, but the fact that they served us off beer in the first place is baffling and raises serious concerns about their standards (or lack thereof). Who checks this stuff? Does anyone?
The food was another disaster. The portions were laughable, bordering on insulting. My meal came with a scattering of sad, undercooked chips that looked like they?d been counted out one by one to ensure they didn?t go over some miserly chip limit. The main portion itself? Barely a snack. For what we paid, I expected a meal, not a plate that looked like it came from a children?s menu.
The only reason this place survives, it seems, is because companies keep booking rooms at the Premier Inn next door and forcing their employees to eat at the attached Beefeater. Otherwise, this location would have shut down long ago. It?s clear that quality and customer satisfaction are nowhere on the priority list here. If you?re thinking of dining here, save yourself the trouble and find somewhere that actually deserves your business. If you happen to have found your self reading this review whilst considering booking a room for your employees. I beg you to find even a grain of empathy in your heart and look elsewhere.

Quality was ok . But quantity was dreadful.. £18 for small salmon and 4 small potatoes..
Then an extra £5 for TWO prawns..
Won't go again & will spread the word
