Some common sense needed from delivery staff. You are making life more difficult for yourself (and inconveniencing customers) if you can?t be bothered to make any attempt to deliver a parcel to a neighbour if no one is home. Especially when there are 4 options with people at home within 10 metres who would be happy to take it. If Royal Mail also updated their legacy mobile app to be fit for purpose, that might help.

I must be really lucky! Ive never had any issues with the staff there, they have always been friendly and helpful. Knocked a star off for the lack of suitable opening hours, but thats not the staffs fault

Check opening times at the moment with covid you also need proof of identity when picking anything up.

The usual post office staff mentality to be fair. You always know when you walk in and see the sign that says rudeness to our staff will not be tolerated that what this actually means is that they can be as rude as they like to you but if you dare to question their attitude then it's you who has the problem. This has heightened during the absurd times in which we have been forced to live as along with supermarket menial staff they've become covid Nazis. Never give stupid people authority.

Every year we try and post about 1000 catalogues for our business and every year there is a problem, a problem made with the same fat old man who works on the front desk. How he is employed is beyond me. Last year he refused to take them and I had to ask to speak to manager who was very polite and kindly took them off our hands (we came to drop them off and still refused and his excuse was "im too busy"). He is still working there now, we went earlier today and as usual he refused to take them again... He is so rude and lazy and simply cannot be bothered with the work. Royal mail its disgraceful you allow this man to work on the front desk and we find it quite baffling.

Absolutely shocking. Can't follow instructions to leave my parcels with the neighbour!! DPD, Hermes, UPS can all follow instructions and never miss a delivery. ROYAL MAIL is awful and time consuming

Well it was closed. I did manage to speak to a staff member, and he was very helpful, but the reason I went there was to see why my parcel was supposed to have been delivered and signed for, but no parcel was left and no red card posted to say where it's left ( side of house etc) . So l think it was all a scam, as nobody could find or figure out where the parcel had gone, but l did get my money back.

postman seem to think they are exempt from litter laws and discard rubber band willy nilly in holmes chapel. These tangle up hedgehogs which eventually die. A disgrace.

Small collection area, crowded if more than a few people are waiting. Staff are royal mail standard. They close at 2pm every weekday for some reason. Which means, if you are a shift worker, on a 6-2 early's week, you're out of luck, and not catered for at all. Location (not that they can really help that), is at the other end of a 10 to 20 minute traffic queue for many people in Congleton (motorists heading for the M6 motorway mostly). On the plus side, I've always found a parking space there.
