I gave the Congleton branch 7 items of expensive clothes to alter. It was expensive (£16 to hem a t shirt). I presumed this was because it would be a professional job and they were using proper factory machines. However, a month later they returned them to me and 6 out of 7 items were ruined. Missed stitches everywhere (so they unravelled), snapped stitching (areas with no stitches), hems cut very unneatly, underneath the stitching was all undone and in big knotted messes, a few holes in the tops and in places the hem isn't even attached. One top was cut and sewed too short also.Rather than refund me, they want me to give it back to them, yet won't tell me how they can repair any of this or stick the material back on to the top they cut too short.Over £400 of my clothes are ruined and I'm £115 out of pocket in what I paid them. If I unpick the clothes I'll be left with visible holes in them, and I can't wear them as they are a mess.Their customer service has been really poor too. I've since talked to many other customers who have had clothes ruined and not had the ruined clothes refunded.EDIT: I want to add, after the response below. I still have not got my money back, and Johnson's are refusing to compensate me for £400 of clothes. The dry cleaning manager referred to below has said she's they highest up manager within the Johnsons company, so I can't escalate this situation to someone who can actually help me.I explained I was disabled and it's not fair to expect me to make a trip to Johnsons to give them clothes they will either make worse or can't repair (eg. how do you propose you stick material back on from where it was cut too short?). Your manager still can't tell me this or answer any questions. In fact it was made clear to me it was either Johnson's way or the highway.I am also confused why Johnson's encourages people to share photos of the work, but then dismisses them and at no time has taken any responsibility for the workmanship. It's been reframed that it's just I 'feel' they aren't done well.Johnsons ruined my clothes, and refuse to tell me how they will repair them (without acknowledging repairs aren't possible and will at best be substandard).Service: Clothing alterations & repairs

Key cutting service is good but the pricing is a bit weird? They have a deal where it?s half-price for the second key if you get two keys cut. I got three keys cut so paid full price for 2 and only got one at half-price. Wasn?t really explained how the prices worked until the keys had been cut.Lady in the shop was friendly and all keys worked, so not all bad!

Not happy with this place, husband jacket looked like it had been ironed and top layers of fabric had been burnt (silver mark's) also they melted one of the buttons on is jacket, he's in there priority club, and this is the service you get, gosh knows what they do to non priority members...... just looked at my son's suite and they have done the same...... DON'T USE THEM!!!

Very disappointed with a suit my partner gave for dry cleaning this week. The trousers arrived with a double pleat down the front... really? Also there were small creases in the jacket, almost as though the item had been cleaned but not pressed. Will have to find an alternative local Dry Cleaners now... definitely don't recommend this branch
