Opened later than 10am on a Sunday morning. Waited. Then given wrong advice after a cat bite...advice should have been go straight to A&E. Instead painkillers and a dressing was advised. Ended up in hospital for 3 days due to severe infection.Doctor suggested reporting the pharmacy on this occasion. A previous visit concerning swollen eye allergy was fine, prescribed antihistamine tablets. Different pharmacist.

Another bad review for the incredibly rude and unprofessional staff at this pharmacy especially the pharmacist who was working yesterday (Sunday 10/08/2025) afternoon. Very patronizing and I hope she feels proud of herself denying a 3 year old a BTC topical cream he desperately needed to hold him over until we saw his specialist during the week. Healthcare at its finest, then they wonder why the NHS is struggling as people like her make desperate patients end up in A&E for non-emergencies tying up essential services. Good thing there are other pharmacists out there who realize their job is to actually help people and have a lot more common sense and beside manner than that female pharmacist. From all the bad reviews on here it?s clear she obviously takes pleasure in having people unnecessarily suffer, which is scary and Wells pharmacy should be investigating her behaviour.

Not tried calling so can?t comment, but they always have my prescription with no fuss, and it?s from a private GP so I get it?s a bit of a faf, legends in my opinion

Too many bad reviews about this pharmacy. I?ve been using this pharmacy regularly for two years and the staff are fine. If there?s been no prescription for me to pick up, it?s been the fault of the NHS app, the surgery or surgery reception.
The Irish pharmacist has been great with me when I?ve had problems. She?s a good woman.
If you?re not happy, go somewhere else. Then, those who are satisfied don?t have to see your moaning faces.

I understand that pharmacists have to put up with a lot, but the staff here are so incredibly miserable that they take it out on the customers. I?ve always had issues here, particularly with the young girl Robyn, incredibly rude and patronising. Turn their nose up at you and make you feel like you?ve inconvenienced them for daring to ask to collect your prescription, when that is literally their job. Why do people go into professions they?re clearly not made out for? All urgently need a refresher course on customer service.

Very poor and upsetting experience
Visited the Well Pharmacy on Delamere Street, Chester, after my doctor sent a prescription for antibiotics following a post-caesarean infection. I was in severe pain and politely asked if my prescription could be processed sooner than the stated hour wait. A female staff member was incredibly rude, dismissive, and told me?in front of a shop full of customers?that if I wasn?t happy, I could take my prescription elsewhere. Her attitude was unprofessional and deeply upsetting, especially considering my vulnerable state. This is not how patients in pain should be treated.

Called in this morning and asked to speak to the Pharmacist as we had a serious and urgent medical issue. The young lady who served us was very polite but she had no understanding about the issue and we made several unsuccessful requests to speak to the pharmacist. Eventually the pharmacist was consulted but did she come to speak to us - no she did not, even though the pharmacy was empty apart from ourselves. Terrible customer service.

Moved all my family prescriptions here as he major issues with items at are chemist In saltney and here is brilliant. Always there and if short rectified quick. All round a good chemist and great opening hours

Used Well pharmacy last night found them very helpful and friendly nice clean shop area the only minor problem was with Google Maps saying the shop was on the left when in fact it was tucked Away on the right ot the shops fault.Steve

Agree with all the one star reviews regarding a female pharmacist who is incredibly rude and uncaring. I?ve tried to obtain some emergency medication for my eight year old this evening and she refused to give it to me, despite the prescription being sent as an emergency via 111.
I was advised that I should take her to a&e if she became seriously unwell overnight without it.

Honestly the female pharmacist is the rudest person ever. She really needs to enroll in courses that teach about consultation and manners. As a clinician my self I am horrified by the way she talks to people including my self. It?s been going on for far too long
