Customer service in the Chester branch yard is appalling. Went there to buy some timber , the counter staff sent me into the yard to locate what I wanted and get a ticket after locating the person in the yard , which took quite a while, I asked him for what I wanted and was met with complete apathy and rudeness, I tried to locate the timber I wanted but failed and eventually gave up and left. Overall he was the least helpful person I have ever encountered in a builders merchants which is dying something as I have recently retired after fifty years in the game.

Excellent customer service in store, over the phone and at delivery. As a female I?m often ignored or ridiculed at these places, but not here! I would highly recommend the Chester branch.

The staff are friendly and helpful , they can also help to guide you in the right direction , ie cheaper products just as good ,or where products are in the store , so always a pleasant experience .

After visiting the Queensferry branch and being left waiting over 20 mins for assistance to buy a number of internal doors went to the Chester branch what a difference, served by Donna who went out of her way to assist, purchase made very pleased, good quality and fast delivery.
