If I could have given 0 start I would have.
After going to 3 other timpsons to get a key cut and programed for my landrover I was told to go to this store all stores said they could do my reg but didn't have the machine. So place and paid for order 6 days later still waiting for my call back. So started chasing. Phone was ringing out a lot then sometimes picked up and put down.
Finally through was told they'd ring me back that day but they didn't. I had to ring back following day to be told they don't do my key even though there system says.
When I explained this to get my money back I was told lesson learned. I asked by who and got no answer. To say Timpsons don't care is an understatement.

Had a haircut today by Dan, really nice guy. Suhill usually does my trim but he wasn?t in today or over the weekend when I tried. Dan was polite and really took his time with my cut. We had a good chat about the football and him previously working as a barber in London. He also focused on some of the finer details that are sometimes missed by suhill, like trimming the hair line just down from the forehead etc? I am usually pretty picky with barbers but I wouldn?t hesitate in letting Dan cut my hair again.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Mark at the Caldy Valley store. When I walked in and greeted him with a friendly ?Hello, how are you?? his response was a dismissive ?Yeah? as he just stared at me. I politely asked to have three keys cut, providing the master key, and then went home only to find out none of the keys worked.
I called Mark to ask why the keys didn?t work, and his response was a blunt, ?Which ones?? When I informed him that all of them were faulty, I asked if I could go elsewhere to have them redone. His enthusiastic response of ?Of course? felt more like a way of saying he couldn?t be bothered with the issue.
It was incredibly inconvenient to find another place in Chester to get the keys recut, but thankfully, they worked when done elsewhere. This experience was frustrating and time-wasting. I wouldn?t recommend going to the Caldy Valley store for key cutting, especially if Mark is serving you.

Very helpful employee. However I did feel that it was very expensive. I had 3 watches and needed batteries, however £70 for all 3 seemed more than I expected. I will say they are lifetime batteries. But the difference monetary wise between 1 yr to lifetime was around £3-£5 per watch . So obviously I went with lifetime batteries. It did not instill confidence in them when I was told if they do not last that long they will replace free of charge. Mixed feelings to be fair.

Great service IF you can catch them open! Repaired a screen on a mobile phone within a week at what we felt was a reasonable price. However collection wasn't easy. Each time we called there was a back in 15 mins / 30 mins/ 50 mins sign on the door. When we commented that we had called a couple of times we were told "when you work for Timpsons you can't go to the toilet!" If you need a 50 minute break at 5pm on a Saturday to open for 10 mins before closing again you may need some extra help!

Accidentally put my car keys through the wash and central locking failed. Ordinarily I wouldn't be concerned except this is for my pride and joy 21 year old classic.Excessive water damage, connection damage with battery replacement for the fob. All fixed and good as new.Surprised to see so many 1* reviews, I thought they were super friendly and helpful. Recommended.
