Terrible experience this morning. Returned an item I ordered online. Really snobby older woman with white hair and black bold specs - engaged with me like I was the dirt on her shoe! I spend quite a lot of money with this company and I didn't like her attitude. Terrible customer service!!!

Pleasant place to shop, good products and friendly staff

Visited Chester store today to exchange an item and purchase another. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, as always, and Sharon made the exchange an easy process even though the size I wanted wasn't in stock. She ordered me the correct size to be delivered to home, sorted the exchange and processed my new purchase. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Sharon :-)

Love shopping here normally go to the one in Cheshire oaks. Came to Chester with my boyfriend for valentines weekend however as soon as we entered the shop we were treated like shop lifters being constantly watched as we was looking around the store even went upstairs and was followed by a member of staff. Found it really rude and stereotypical as no other shops we visited did this.

Visit this store several times a year. I find the staff polar opposites. Some are great friendly and chatty. Others are really quite unhelpful, too busy chatting amongst themselves and don't even ask for your loyalty number, perhaps because I don't look like the typical type who shops there regularly, I don't know. The shop itself is wonderful, there is always a diffuser on and it is always very clean and relaxed. There is a distinct lack of mirrors on the shop floor though, which I like to use to see if something will be a good length or to see instantly if the colour suits before trying on.The clothes there are very good quality and I noted they didn't really stock any from China. They are still expensive considering most I saw were made in Turkey. However, I spotted several children's clothes were made in Portugal, which I was very happy about. More UK or European clothes please. The prices you have on your clothes should cover costs of making them in these places. People are willing to pay extra to have manufacturing brought back to the UK.

Unfortunately I was treated like a shop lifter the minute I walked in. I wasn't wearing the best attire but I felt someone was watching me and followed me around the shop. Such a shame because I was looking to buy a lot of products and wanted more of a luxury experience which is what I thought the white company was about rather than a pretty woman experience. Such a shame. Not sure I'll shop here again.

Firstly I'm not Sammy Plays, thats my son and I can't figure out how to log out..anyway I just wanted to thank the member of staff who helped me in the Chester store yesterday. After some bad news recently I'm a bit of an emotional wreck and I decided I would buy my wife a dressing gown but i decided this at the last minute and strolled into the store looking like a scruff, completely out of place. Within a few minutes this lady (whose name I cannot remember, sorry) was helping me choose and asked what was it for I just blurted out 'my wife who is about to go through chemotherapy she's stage 4' far too much information for a Saturday morning to a complete stranger but she dealt with it so well and helped me pick the right one understanding what it is for and didn't make me feel daft.Retail is getting a lot of grief at the moment so I just wanted to mention this and thank her.

Rude woman on the door, not sure what's up with her but she has a terrible attitude and comes across very stuck up. This is not very welcoming and sets the vibe the second you walk into the store. Terrible, especially when working in a retail/customer service role. Didn't feel welcomed in the shop and felt like I was being watched/judged, possibly due to me being a young male?I left the shop and didn't bother to continue browsing, I'd avoid unless your fit their 'Typical' clientel.

I visited this Chester shop today 17/10/2020 , around 1pm.I arrived with 3 people from my household, 2 of them wearing masks and myself not wearing a mask. I fall under the exemption list as per government guidance due to health conditions. I have never once been challenged about not wearing a mask since the start of lock down , this is the first time.As we entered the shop we was greeted and I was asked did I have a mask to wear, which I responded with 'i don't sorry' and continued into the shop.As I was browsing, maybe 1minute after after arriving , the same lady approached me and advised I would need to leave the shop if I don't put a mask on. I advised her I am exempt due to health reasons, which she challenged and asked for proof of said health conditions and said I would have to show her them.At this point I left the shop at my own accord as I felt discriminated against and questioned about my health conditions. I also didn't feel comfortable discussing with a stranger , whilst in public with other shoppers around about my health conditions. I can understand asking everyone as they come in if they could wear a mask but I believe challenging and asking for proof of health conditions is taking it way to far, and is way too personal / not anyone elses buisness.I'm not sure if this is something the white company has put in their own policy or if this is something the individual decided to police by herself, either way I believe it needs addressing. It's hard enough to even go out in public / go into shops with my mental health conditions, and this situation certainly didn't help. Unfortunately this incident brought an end to my day out and was a wasted Journey into Chester.Taken From GOV.UK - "Those who have an age, health or disability reason for not wearing a face covering should not be routinely asked to give any written evidence of this, this includes exemption cards. No person needs to seek advice or request a letter from a medical professional about their reason for not wearing a face covering."I will never shop at the white company Chester again, and I advise you don't either. I will be pursuing this further with the white company themselves and would like clarification if this is their own policy or not.

Entered the shop with my girlfriend, wearing a mask, hand sanitised and not much long after I'd finished rubbing the sanitiser in I was accused of putting a bottle of oil in my pocket by the rude, up herself lady manning the door at the time, didn't get her name, I asked if she would like to search me when she had the cheek to double check 'if I was sure I hadn't stolen it' walked straight back out, won't be going back, no apology received.
