Oh dear. What a shame. We've stayed here before and had a lovely time. This time however was not so nice. The room hadn't been cleaned when we got there. There was old and used shampoo, and shower gel bottles left in the bathroom, hairs all over the bathroom floor and nasty looking stains on the duvet and pillows. Not nice! Also on the website it says there is a disco available till 3am. What this doesn't make clear is that the "disco" can be heard throughout the whole hotel and is ridiculously loud. It was basically like trying to sleep in a nightclub. Also the shower door looked very loose and dodgy. I wouldn't be surprised if one day that falls on someone. We did ask them to clean the room and they did change the sheets and take away the pillow but there were still hairs on the floor and they didn't take the old shampoo bottles. Dear oh dear.

We arrived at 10:30am straight from a 15 minute walk from the train station. We were greeted by one of our hosts who kindly took care of our cases while we started enjoying our stay in Chester. We were called at around 2pm to let us know our room was ready so we made our way back to the hotel. Our host had already taken our cases up to our room named ?Byron? it was beautiful, large bedroom, a huge stunning bathroom and separate sitting room. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The facilities were brilliant, there was even a small fridge in the sitting room which was very handy.
