Such a nice place

Went here for a family meal, over the weekend and we were seated in a private room. The round table facilitated conversation and it was quiet for chatting. The staff were attentive, prompt and helpful, without being intrusive.
The food was lovely. I particularly could recommend the mushroom bourgignon pie, which was really nice, served with an amazing gravy! Others in the party had steak burgers which they weren't as pleased with. They thought them to be a bit boring and overpriced.
Overall, myself and my partner had a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to go again if we're in Chester.

We sat outside and were very pleased to be able to choose something different as I found most of Chester serves cruzcampo and inches cider
We had Aspall and Ashai. It was nice weather and reasonably busy. Im so glad we stopped off to find a couple of our favourite pints.

The atmosphere is very pretty, if you enjoy stay outside the view is good, inside you can stay in the bar, have a private and fancy dinner, so is a really nice place, loved it!

Hot day, beer was good, prices in line with the rest of chester, service however is always slow and unenthusiastic, no matter how busy it is, staff just don't seem bothered, it's a shame

The food was delicious, ordered a beef roast dinner and it was up there with one of the best. The venue itself was lovely, and the staff were really friendly with great customer service.
As the table was booked for my birthday, the team left a happy birthday card on the table, which was really special!
Free parking at the venue was possible for some of us, but others had to pay in the parking lot across the road. Keep in mind if you are driving!

Wow! This is the PLACE to go in Chester! Me and my husband Dean went last Races Weekend, and just brilliant. I had the fish and chips and Dean had the Malaysian veg curry, and it was delicious. Our server Grace was excellent. She was working on a Race day and was so efficient and attentive. Would go again.

Most enjoyable experience in many years. Excellent food and wine , very efficient and friendly staff, spent 5 good hours and didn't want to leave when it was time.
