Convenient location with plenty of stock, but very inflated prices compared to mainstream Tesco stores. Good for a few bits and pieces if it?s the only store open.

This store is one of the worse stores I have been to, the staff are very rude me and a few others come in every morning before work and the attitude we get is unacceptable expecially from the girl with the ginger hair, she huffs and puffs every time we come into store always blocking the path so we can't look for what we want she does it of purpose, when we ask for someone on till she just roles her eyes doesn't say hello doesn't say bye doesn't say anything at all she's just a bad part of your business and she needs sacking she's make me feel uncomfortable to come into the store

The young girl at the checkout was not available to serve as I only had cash I waited patiently for 5 minutes then started shouting hello around the store as I needed to purchase my bottle of water several hellos later she turned up and complained to me saying there's no need to shout around yhe store and was very disrespectful to me huffing and puffing .

Lots of moans on here. I live local and me and my partner are in there pretty much everyday. It?s Tesco express, I do not expect the staff to be singing and dancing when I enter the store. It does what it says on the tin! Also you get some right bargains. I?ve had tia Maria for £6 crisps for 20p all sorts! I do agree with the till business, can be annoying if you need the till and not self checkout and nobody is on hand.

Not easy to browse around store ? Security made me and my husband feel so uncomfortable. Every isle we went he was virtually breathing down our neck. Only looking for snacks etc. Would not return or recommend unfortunately.

1 star for the amazing consistency of nobody on the shop floor. I have been a few times where customers are waiting around the tills for someone to turn up.

Good selection of stock, staff aren't too talkative but they were fairly busy to be fair.
Would have preferred to go to a manned till as opposed to a self serve checkout too.
Floor was quite dirty all around though.

I would like to make a comment about Mini Tesco in Pepper Street Chester city centre, I go into this store most early mornings, can I say that the early morning staff are NOT welcoming, no one says good morning, goodbye, they work hard unloading the wagon and stacking the shelves, but when they stop work they gather round and chat with each other or looking on their phones, they don?t bother lifting there heads to say hello, I?m finding it harder to go into the store as I feel uncomfortable. A simple hello or how is your day going would be nice, nothing worse than walking into the store and passing members of staff daily basis with not one acknowledgement made.

Stood for 5 minutes waiting at the self service tills which i hate anyway for someone to come and clear the till as it had the stupid red light thing on the top. Had to go looking for staff to clear it. I found 2 members of staff chatting in one of the isles so i said with my hands out is there anyone on the tills guys. The so called joke of a manager named sean said we have other things to do as well you know to which i replied i have been waiting for 5 mins and that there should be someone on the tills or at least watching them. He told me that i had a bad attitude and i need to speak to people better and that i didn't ask very nicely. I told him not to tell me what i need or how to talk. I then asked him if he'd heard of the saying the customer is always right to which he replied yeah and you believe that do you. I said yes i do and if you don't then you're in the wrong job. The argument continued until i eventually gave up trying to make this rude little boy see the error of his ways and i left without my shopping. This rude little boy of a manager needs sacking or at least retraining and demoted to staff member level as there's a few similar complaints on Google that are obviously about the same petulant little boy manger. Off now to find tesco complaints procedure. I suspect he gave me a false name but its the boy with the silly earrings in his ear. I also suspect he wouldn't have been so cocky outside of his work environment face to face on the street these kind of people tend to keep quiet in that situation

This place is bloody stupid you spend half the lifespan of a fly creating a temple to the god of wealth praying he will bring you the item your looking for and after 5 moons and 5 suns. Once and only once you have completed that bush tucker trial you can move onto stage 2 paying after swerving the piles of rubbish and un stuck stock you can get to the tills but whats this no ones here?!? How funny scream cry shout and moan but no one will come you have failed the task of payment reason: no bloody staff of staff that are constantly high as a kite.

Sainsbury?s been a little bit of a walk from the skate clock for where we were staying. Had absolutely everything you could possibly need. We got a full weeks supply from here and we got the top bits from Sainsbury?s just across the road but otherwise Tesco had everything it was self checkouts, mainly with one person scanning. It was really big for Tescos extra. I think it was on the verge of being a big Tesco?s, but otherwise it works perfectly for us. It?s a Tesco?s so what do you expect?

Great little shop in the middle of cheste. Has a wide range of products, friendly staff, and convenient location. Highly recommended for quick and hassle-free grocery shopping.
