“Not the biggest car park though can park in front of boots. A great place to shop with brilliant prices, friendly staff and easy to walk around. Just try to go and non peak times as can get quite busy and the queues can be quite long.”

“We had breakfast here on Saturday morning, it was very tasty the smoked bacon was lovely, however the scrambled egg was warm at best but cooked nicely, I know that scrambled egg can go cold pretty quickly so gave them the benefit of the doubt, nice friendly staff and lovely drinks!”

“Staff are fantastic, probably the best grocery store help I have ever received. It was during the christmas rush and everyone was occupied but no one made me feel like I was an inconvenience or I was disturbing them. They all genuinely want to help. Lots of variety and the store is clean and well lit.”

“Sainsbury's is well laid out. There is a good range of products. The quality of which are good.

Thee is a customer toilet.
A cash machine is outside, free to use.
Also there is a coffee shop chain inside.

Thee are staffed tills, self checkouts and the self scan as you go opions.

Dor the scan as you go option you will need a necter card.

There is ample parking. Easily accessable too. All flat, so if you're on wheels or otherwise, that should help too. :-)

Liked it.”

“Wonderful staff in this co op especially a lovely man called James he was very helpful and made my son laugh and stay calm before he had a melt down because I wasn’t quick enough to give him his chocolate. Only reason I went in was to get my grandad his tobacco for his pipe (saint Bruno) which sadly you don’t sell no more please please can you restock it?”

“Went today as i wanted to pick a special item that was designated for this store, became a member for this, as well as for the cheap diesel. The place was extremely busy on Saturday at 09.30, picked up the item and diesel, the queue was no problem, nothing different from a busy petrol station. Diesel was 1.329 per litre, prefer diesel at BP Bromborough which currently is £1.36, the diesel at Costco although classed as premium is not premium as per BP ultimate or shell V power, so the cost issue is not as good getting fuel from Costco. Also the prices were not that much different from the supermarkets. The food items were ok, mainly the pizza. The Caesar salad was full of lettuce and not much chicken, for almost £5, the price was deemed expensive. The hotdog at £1.50 with a refill was cheap. Cookie was good but expensive at £2.49. Foodwise not my cup of tea, really. On a second visit for the iphone17, found the staff extremely helpful and that 90 day return policy blew Currys out the water, this aspect made me revisit my intial star rating from 3 to 5. Traffic coming out wasn't that bad as well.”

“Astonishingly nice staff.

I went in with my phone having died, asked to charge it when I was at the till and the colleague, Grace, just paid for my items. Totally unbelievable - Thank you!”

“Saltney store. Huge recognition due to Ben, the carpark attendant for all his help today. If there's an employee of the month award he definitely gets my vote.
Merry Christmas Ben x”

“Decent supermarket. Great variety of products. You can find many discounts with the Tesco’s club card. I would recomment avoiding peak times as it may get crowded, but overall, there are many cashiers and automatic scan machines, therefore you don’t usually wait more than 10 minutes in a line (peak). I have never used parking facilities - no comment.”

“A handy, clean, tidy and well stocked local convenience type corner shop with excellent level of customer service. From alcohol to condoms to fresh and frozen goods,it has 90% of what any one needs. It has to be said that prices not are not keen as a supermarket but then that's the nature of the corner shop.”

“Only a small Tesco so no clothes bit sadly. Great for quick shop not so great for a full shop. I feel like bits are missing. Like a big Tesco express kind of thing. Could do with being bigger.

“We ordered the option C set meal to take away for four people. The food was ready on time, pleasant staff, free bottle of wine and fair price. One of our guests was a Chinese national and she said the food was delicious and tasted authentic. We all enjoyed it, had a great evening and will be back for more. Thank you New Village”

“Handy little Tesco Express store. There are a few free parking spaces directly outside the store. Popped in here to grab a meal deal - had a pretty good selection. Couple of self service checkouts which is always good to see.”

“I walked into the store tonight and I quickly realised I'd forgotten my mask so I walked out again. The manager had spotted that and came out of the store to offer me a mask so I could shop which I thought was a really nice gesture.”

“This afternoon I went to pick up my parcel that I ordered online. Unfortunately there was a customer who accidentally took my parcel. The staff and manager with short red hair (didn’t get her name) were so helpful and tried to get hold of my parcel from the lady. In the evening Amy (one of the staff) even dropped the parcel to my house on her way home after her shift. Thank you sooooooo much for all your help and efforts. Pls recognize their hard work for the branch. They are amazing!”

“Im type 1 diabetic and felt a hypo coming on so went into the shop to get something sweet, all i remember is a member a staff asking if was waiting for change from the till as i must of been stood there looking abit spaced out. Informing her i was diabetic she kindly told me to take a seat so i could bring my sugars back up and safely be on my way, thank you to this member of staff, i will be back to find out your name, show my appreciation and make your store manager knows of this situation and how you prevented it from getting worse”

“Lots of moans on here. I live local and me and my partner are in there pretty much everyday. It’s Tesco express, I do not expect the staff to be singing and dancing when I enter the store. It does what it says on the tin! Also you get some right bargains. I’ve had tia Maria for £6 crisps for 20p all sorts! I do agree with the till business, can be annoying if you need the till and not self checkout and nobody is on hand.”
