Served/ Serviced checkouts? Not serviced. They were all shut, don?t do your big shop here if you don?t want to individually scan each item on a self checkout machine that?s telling you you?ve put the wrong item down. Watched several elderly customers struggle with their shopping, for many of them this might be the last thing they can do independently but when face to face with a self checkout machine they can be intimidating The only reason I?ve given two stars is the staff monitoring the self checkouts were lovely, and although they easily could?ve been on the Serviced checkout instead, I know often they?re not in control of such decisions.

Wow, if ypu don't have a nectar card ypu really get stung by the prices in this place! I shop everywhere, M&S, Tesco, Morrisons, Home Bargains and the Coop and none of the prices are as steep as they are in Sainsbury's.
I haven't shopped in Sainsbury's for a long time and I definitely will not be going back. You're having a laugh with your pricing! I paid £96 today and barely two bags of shopping!
And, you sell sooo much unhealthy sweet products, aisles full of sugar loaded rubbish!

3rd visit in two weeks where have been no smaller trolleys available at front of the store. Also lengthy wait at self serve checkouts for verification by staff. Since the recent ?upgrade? of the store, staffing levels and standards have noticeably dropped. Be interesting to see the impact that new store being opened by a rival 50Metres away will have.

Heating hasn?t worked since April, literally no clothes so nothing in an emergency. Toilets stink. No pharmacy, no cafe unless over priced freelance Starbucks but give yourself an hour to wait. Staff in Starbucks keep reduced stuff for themselves. This shop has been downgraded so absolutely nothing of quality unless you want four aisles of booze. Forget food as generally haven?t got it. Worse than when it opened in 1983. Avoid.

It's sainsbury's, better than Tesco worse than Waitrose. This one is a pretty big store, jot much in the way of home/clothes. More focused on food

As a regular customer at Sainsbury's Caldey Valley, I have to report how disappointed I am at a purchase made Sat 21/6/25. A cabbage purchased that day and was about to use that day was riddled with greenfly and caterpillars!

It's a nice cafe, much better than the one that was there before for sure, BUT staff is bit too slow, they could make some more effort in serving clients.
