Having walked away from me as I approached her till, only to reappear from adjacent room a couple of minutes later, the post office woman returned to her counter position. She quickly became grumpy with me as she picked up my small package off the scales. My carefully wrapped and sealed small package to mainland China, had my carefully hand-printed label in English, securely taped to the front of the package. Its contents were written on its reverse.No, it was 'too small' for the stamp label and there was "no room" for the customs label on the package (use a postage stamp? "Not possible"?!!). There was room on the back of the package for the customs declaration! I was told I needed larger packaging. I didn't have one with me nor one at home. At that stage she didn't offer me Post Office packaging or envelope.I completed the customs form with my initial & surname, and my address as my house number, followed by an oblique and my postcode. That was "NOT acceptable" (despite being acceptable to Royal Mail). She then wasn't happy with my initial - I had to give her my full name! Why?What was inside? I told her - and then pointed out I had written its contents on the packaging. Next, what was the name of the company on the address in China? I had tell her I didn't know because that was not given when they sent me that information via PayPal. Then she "couldn't read" my large printing of the address (written in English but Chinese names of course) and at that point I did firmly, but not rudely, ask her if she could read English! She then refused to take my package and told me she wouldn't accept my behaviour!! I left, telling her I would be making a formal complaint about her grumpy and most unhelpful behaviour (that has been done tonight).Not surprised at all this post office is only 3 star rated.

Was shut for 2 hours at lunch time but website says only shut for 30 minutes. No other post office suits for lunch

Friendly efficient staff , I wouldn't use another post office
