Obscure is my go-to coffee shop in Chester. My usual order would be a Filter coffee, but on this occasion i got an iced matcha latte. The service is always incredible here. The 2 baristas i quite often see, know what they?re doing, seriously.
In addition, they have a lovely selection of cakes and sandwiches to accompany your hot and cold drinks. It is relatively small compared to other coffee shops i?ve been to, especially in Chester.
However, if you?re travelling alone or with friends, i would very much recommend you come here and check it out for yourselves.

Absolutely one of my top coffee shops in Chester. Great coffee, delicious sandwiches, and treats, and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Really puts the cherry on top of my day.
They have gegan and gluten-free options, too!

strange man in there all the time, grey hair, extremely overweight and just seems to stare. Extremely unhygienic having his belly hanging out all the time, really puts me off my food.

Had the chocolate orange croissant. Amazing flavour not quite as fresh as i hoped but that is expected as they were probably baked earlier in the day. Guy working was super passionate and obviously cared to make sure that the tea was perfectly hot. CRAZY sausage roll (huge).

Fantastic coffee, great service and cozy atmosphere. The dirty chai is outstanding.
Decaf options available. Seating in front and back. Limited parking on street parking for set times only.
Will definitely be going back.

Lovley coffee, Great selection of sweet treats, A confined space inside.
My review is about the coffee alone.
Its definelty worth the trip for the coffee I had A takeout cappuccino and will review again when i get the chance to sit in and drink out of A proper cup.
I feel like the paper takeout cups anywhere effect the taste of the hot beverages.

Amazing stuffed croissants, we had a lemon meringue and a strawberry and white chocolate.
The cappuccino was lovely and they have a good range of hot drinks.
Nice chilled music in the background and very clean and tidy.
