There was a bit of a wait on the food but it was busy when we arrived. The full cooked breakfasts were lovely but the pancakes really disappointing with a grainy texture to them. The space was incredibly cramped inside and although most will enjoy the quaintness, I felt rather hemmed in. I am hoping the pancakes was just a one off as all the other food was really good.

Incredibly rude blonde woman behind the counter.
Went upstairs to get seated, a family behind us were clearly deliberating going in or not. When they decided to go in we got shunned away, rudely told there was no room - no apology, no "it'll be X amount of time" just you'll have to go.
Maybe some customer service training needed :)

Quite possibly the best breakfast I've ever had in my 44 years on this planet. Seriously! Just sooo tasty, beautifully presented and such a fab, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended! Might even pop back again tomorrow...

Wow! What a fabulous place to have lunch at, me and my mum went here today for our linch( and it was impressive.
I had the chicken and bacon sandwich, and my mum had the mozzarella sticks, both looked fabulous, and my sandwich was incredible.
Proper quality meat it was and I also had their vegan Jaffa cake style cake, and it was to die for. And their coffee was top notch as well.

I'm sooo conflicted. If I give an honest review, you'll all go flocking to the Naughty Badger for the wonderful food and delicious staff, and there'll be no room for me. Hmmm.... "Avoid this place as you would the Ebola virus. Awful food, possibly poisonous. Rude ugly staff. Nothing to see here, people; move along now." that should do it... ??

Absolutely amazing place. The staff are very friendly and food is fabulous. A hidden treasure in Chester where you can just sit and watch the world go by. The platter we had was fantastic. Cannot recommend this place enough

I had the pleasure of attending the Naughty Badger for the first time today.It was a wonderful experience and with a lovely atmosphere.The food (we treated ourselves to a sausage sarnie) was gorgeous and everyone was really attentive as soon as we arrived, to when we left.I can certainly recommend the Naughty Badger and look forward to returning again when I am next in Chester.

Genuinely a lovely breakfast only small downside with eggs royale is the salmon is tinned, not smoked like it says on the menu, especially as the menu is quite pricey people will expect smoked, nice all the same x
