Longstanding customer of Nationwide but after today I feel like going elsewhere who knows how to treat their customers. 20 minute wait with no explanation or apology. Went to Santander and was greeted by the Manager. Where do I want to invest my money. Certainly not Nationwideð??¡

Called in to get some documents certified for probate purposes for my later partner - of whom we are both long standing customers of Nationwide Bank. The lady at reception, said sorry we cannot do this for you as we cannot "Confirm or Deny your ID or Documents". She said " We tell everyone to go around the corner to a nearby solicitors, and they will certify these documents for a payment of five pounds".

When we go over to Chester very often need to get statements etc, the staff are always so helpful and friendly, myself and my wife have been with Nationwide for a lot of years my wife since she was born, they are first class with no hesitation of fully recommending them great building society

I find this branch always busy so have to wait for some time. Never enough staff on the tills. I also find it difficult to get through on the telephone

Although members of staff have come and gone it has always had a nice friendly atmosphere.
If you fancy a change of bank you could do a lot worse than move here! (",)

Terrible . Created my account on the 30th November and presented them with my ID on the next day and they sent off for my pin and card. They said they sent them out on the 2nd and they said they will be here by 12th max . I have rang on the 12th and she said sorry you will have to wait till midnight to order a new card but obviously there shut so the next day basically and she said if I ring tomorrow I will be able to request a new card to be sent to me , i have rang them today like she said and she said sorry it's not possible to do it online or over the phone you must bring your ID into the store and do it there but not today you will have to come in tomorrow now , so it's been 2 weeks now without pay and I asked can I take money out because I won't get a card until after Christmas and she said sorry it's not possible to access the account
