We had a great experience dining in the outdoor dinner pods for our anniversary! Marcus was our waiter and he was so polite and friendly. There are heaters in the pod. Highly recommend dinning here for a beautiful setting and great service :)

Great location, big free car park. All the staff here are fantastic and so helpful. Dino was great in the restaurant stopping to ask us how our days been and was on hand to advise us on the evening menu.

Nice hotel just a couple of miles from Chester city centre. Rooms clean, bed and pillows comfy. Nice bar area. Plenty of choice for breakfast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries and self service full English. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Stayed during a work trip in the area. Lovely hotel, staff were great. Room was comfortable, clean and nice.
Facilities were good. Access to sauna, steam room and the swimming pool included.
Breakfast and evening meals were also to a good standard.
Walkability: Short distance from the canal, lovely walks along it.

What a great place just out of the city centre. Warm welcome checking in and great service for our first and many more drinks and snacks from Ellie, who I understand had only just started working. I would have thought she had been there for ages. Great breakfast and clean rooms.

Stayed here for a day at the races, room was big and very clean, it was also ready early which was a huge help so we could change for the races. Reception were extremely helpful, lady with long blonde bob (Sandra/Susan?) was extremely helpful and truly lovely and welcoming. Comfy bed, only criticism is the room was very cold and the shower had very little pressure, all in all though a really nice stay, thank you ??
Rooms: Ours was very spacious, big tv and very comfy bed
Walkability: 2 minutes to the park and ride which takes you into town for £2.50 return

We recently dined at Mercure Hotel Woodland Pods, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy evening out. Marcuss is very attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor?truly a treat for the taste buds! Whether it's a special occasion or just a night out, Mercure hotel is the place to be. I can't wait to return and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!"

Just attended a training course there. Supposed to be morning and afternoon snacks with tea/coffee and lunch. They found some biscuits after being chased up both times. Shocking...

The reception staff were particularly helpful as was Kevin who helped us with our luggage.
This was our second visit as the hotel is conveniently situated near Chester Zoo and also a park and ride which takes you into Chester city centre.
The Hotel needs a little upgrade but the atmosphere was very pleasant. We ate the first evening in the restaurant which was good quality but quite expensive.
The breakfasts were excellent and kept well stocked despite two tour groups decending on them!
We enjoyed our second visit and would use the hotel again .

One of the cleanest hotel rooms I?ve ever stayed in. Good location for Chester. Easily accessible by bus (on public transport on this occasion). Very friendly staff on reception, in bar, in restaurant and cleaning staff. Good toiletries in bathroom. 2 tiny details missing: biscuits with the tea/coffee facilities in the room; and we used the pool but children?s swimming lessons were taking lace which restricted us. Could do with that info being on website somewhere. Good food at breakfast and variety. Loved the Chester paintings dotted about the hotel and in my room. Very comfy mattress and pillows.

Stayed a couple of nights for wedding. Hotel was fully booked but was quiet and the car park had plenty of room. Reception staff are really friendly and helpful and the park and ride into the city centre is 5 mins away. Breakfast excellent. A great place to stay.
