What a cracking pub, open log fire, and even though I didn't have food it looked absolutely beautiful, next time I will definitely have food ?

Historic pub with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Perfect place to visit to soak up the history of Chester. Dog friendly. Both times we visited we were asked if the dog needed water.
