I wanted to love this place but it left us disappointed. We visited early morning on bank holiday Monday. There was no queue and the server was polite. When asked to heat the croissants and pain au chocolates he said that would be fine. After 5 or so minutes they arrived from someone else at the table ?. Cold. When my husband said we?d asked for them warmed she said they wouldn?t do that and with an undertone said they were fresh so didn?t need it. I like a warm croissant, regardless of how fresh they are. After another 5 minutes our drinks hadn?t arrived yet. Plenty of food had been organised for takeouts but there was more chatting and waiting around by staff that things being done. The guy who took the original order eventually made our drinks and we asked them to take out as we?d finished our food before they?d arrived. I was really hoping for a steaming cup of coffee and warm croissant for breakfast. Instead, cold croissants and dry mouths. Disappointed to say the least.

Good vegetarian/plant based cafe.
Very nice Japanese green tea, matcha oat latte, meditterranean style 'Boston beans' on sourdough toast and the pistachio cake was delicious ?

Really lovely cafe, nice brunch menu, good coffee, friendly atmosphere, interesting location under the Rows, all the bread menu options were available gluten free

Aww the coffee is so good....but...poached eggs are bog standard eggs (no delicious large yolks or deep orange indicating special egg deliciousness) and old (all the egg white escaped) and they were...solid! Gah! You need a chef who can do eggs...and at £8, buy some really delish eggs. Apple juice £4 for 200mls...again delicious but....

Amazing coffee and even more amazing host! The barista who served us was very friendly and nice. Accommodated around 12 people just before closing and was very kind. Will definitely visit again.
