On 11/11/2024 I called into Hobbs, Chester looking for a dress to wear to my God-daughter's wedding in December. Ali took on this challenge and with her colleague Sue (I think) helping I tried on several different dresses in the store. My man was also there to encourage me and ensure I found an outfit. Not only did I find a dress I found 4 and purchased them all. Ali's patience, advice and encouragement really helped. As a team they were brilliant. My shopping experience at Hobbs gave me confidence in my purchases and I'm looking forward to wearing a lovely dress on the day. Thank you Ali and Sue.

I cannot fault the service I received at Hobbs Chester. The staff were extremely helpful & professional, & showed me incredible kindness in allowing me to use the store phone to ring my husband in France. I definitely recommend Hobbs Chester & am very pleased with all my purchases. Thank you.

I was looking for a dress to wear at my son?s wedding in France in August. The customer service by Sue was second to none. A blue dress was due to be released in the Carly range, but no date given. Sue took my email address & phone number. She rang me as soon as it was released, ordered it and stored it until I returned from holiday. Sue was excellent and I felt assured that the dress would arrive without a problem, which it did.

What a wonderful service we experienced at Hobbs Chester. Sue was absolutely fabulous in helping me choose my mother of the bride outfit. Nothing was too much trouble and she matched me perfectly with dress, hat, shoes and bag.
I felt like my visit was such a personal experience and was delighted to go home with my daughters and sister feeling like a million dollars ?

I really enjoy visiting my local Hobbs Store in Chester and meeting ALL the staff there.
Everyone, whichever day I call in, they all offer me a fabulous service in Customer Care, Interaction, Respect, Liaison, Honest Opinions and Assistance, even recommending alternatives & seeking out other stores if their 'Store / Branch' or 'online' are no longer able to provide the item. The Service received has never dwayned over the years. Thank you, Chester Staff.
Whereas sadly, cannot say the same about some other Big Stores...
I live alone and it can be days before I see a human being, let alone talk to one and thereby I do miss the interaction with other human-beings by just Internet Shopping.
I personally do not particularly like 'Internet Shopping', but unfortunately this is the way everyone appears to be going & offering. ?????
With the online shopping, the customer can have difficulty in finding a 'nice' fabric & style, along with a good fit and suitable accessories.
The friendly Staff at Chester's branch, all appreciate my predicament and really make me feel welcome every time I visit. It is just like having my very own personal advisor(s).

A great big thank you to the 3 lovely ladies who helped me on Sunday to find a dress for my son's wedding next month. Nothing was too much trouble. They brought me lots of dresses in different styles, colours and sizes, zipped me in and out of dresses, and provided shoes to get a better idea of the overall look. It didn't take me too long to find my perfect dress, I knew as soon as I put it on, I was smiling and twirling around the changing room. Customer service at its best!! Thank you, ladies, much appreciated ?
