Definitely should have read these reviews before spending so much money in there. Bought an item under false pretenses by shop assistant, may have been an honest mistake, may have been for commission but the manager had the chance to rectify and provide a refund but didn?t. That is what is so annoying, they do not value their customers and do not care if you shop there or not, they get paid at end of day regardless so Google reviews will have no weight either as service is still shocking despite previous poor reviews. I?ll be at shopping at selfridges from now on!

I have been searching Chester for Vivienne Westwood watches and flannels happened to have these. All I wanted was to see their collection and hopefully have walked out with one! I was wearing black leggings and a knitted red and white top. I'm greatly disappointed and I can't help feel as if I was in pretty women. I was snubbed, two staff members downstairs were talking the whole time at the till with one customer. I stood by the till to show I needed help then decided I will let them finish with the customer, so I walked around the shop. They still didn't get a hint so I stood by the watches, this is when another staff member, male came down the stairs and I can't help but fell watched as if I were going to steal something, and followed. The difference between me and pretty woman is that I won't be returning to buy a watch off of them. I felt so snubbed, I was not dishevelled, I wasn't wearing designer sure, but I certainly showed no intention of shoplifting, now would I ever.

My partner came into the store to look at watches. She was completely ignored by the two female staff members and was then just tailed by a male staff member. I?ve seen another review of this place stating the same problem.

I haven't made a purchase here. But i have to say the experience ive had with the personnel that work here is very favourable.They're all so very pleasant.

Nipped into Flannels to see if they had some trainers and ended up spending over an hour with the lovely Jasmine. She found us lots of gorgeous bits and was super helpful. We aren't from Chester but will definitely return. Fantastic customer service she is a credit to the store!

Really disappointed with my recent purchase from Flannels Chester, I purchased £85 leggings which had run from the seam after one use, no refund or exchange. You wouldn?t get this level of customer service at Selfridges?

Bought items from the Chester store for a gift. They have opened both items that were boxed to find security tags. Surely the staff should be aware of where the tags are.Visited the store to get the tags removed and the staff member couldn't have been more apologetic and explained that there are a lot of new staff. Hopefully they will all receive the correct training

Here now and been over charged, and they are selling over retail, they refused to honour the lower price, Chester trading standards have been informed

Came in for a birthday present and was followed around the store from the moment we entered, and he wasn?t discrete. About 1-2 metre(s) away from us at all times until I started following him and he walked down stairs. You feel uncomfortable and judged the whole time you?re in there. Would not return.

Staff ordered an item for us online from store pad, he stated this would benefit us as we can return it to store. Unfortunately, when the item arrived it was the wrong colour. He ordered the wrong item, he was too busy serving others. I had to drive back to store pay to park again, had paid postage for an item that was no good. Got refund on item despite him documenting the wrong card number we paid with. Lucky refund was given, still out of pocket tho.Poor customer service outside of store also. Tried to call the store to explain the issue but no answer. Email sent also to try and fix issue. Did get fast reply to say nothing they can do. No apology. Really not impressed with the service.Item now bought elsewhere

Me and my mates came into the store today and we are teenagers , this lady who worked there had said that we had vaped in the shop when we never did and don't even do it . We do not know why she did this but we think this is discrimination of teenagers and that we got kicked out for nothing when we were just looking around , customer service is horrific and how the lady had treated us making up a lame excuse just to kick us out . Never coming back into this store as it was just a terrible experience to have .The lady at the upstairs till kept looking at me and my mates just because we weren't wearing anything too expensive she probs thought as teenagers were up to no good as if we gonna rob a store fr ? teenage discrimination is getting to bad especially with the experience I had in this store.

I went in two lady?s was really nice maybe that just my experience and I was helped on something simliar to something I wanted there prices are good tbh they were kind and let u do your own thing looking around like normal shop ??

Constantly felt uncomfortable throughout the whole of the store, felt staff staring and following throughout. Just because I?m not head to toe in Gucci and I?m carrying standard shopping backs doesn?t mean I?m going to rob the whole store.

Eithan who served me was really helpful very friendly I asked about Phillip plein so he got the I pad and looked up tops unfortunately none were wat I was looking for really flannels don't have it in there shops anymore just on line I would like to see items before I buy so hence find items in other stores I can't fault his service though he was very informative and very very helpful 10stars for that
