“After purchasing two pairs of glasses on the eye care plan, unfortunately wasn’t getting on with one pair of glasses. Went in store and no question re. exchanging them as before 100 day period. I would like to praise and express my thanks to Louise. She has worked in store for 16 years and is studying towards a 3 year dispensing optician course. Her knowledge and advice was invaluable, as my varifocal frames were ill fitting. She helped me choose the correct shape/style/bridge size of glasses.Previously, I was drawn in to designer name/fashion and not practicality of eyewear.Plus the frames were cheaper. I appreciate the way they dealt with my problem, the time they took for me, the way they are so kind, and very important; the most clear way they speak English to understand. “I had my initial consultation for laser eye surgery at the branch in Chester. After this assessment i decided to go ahead and booked my surgery at liverpool which was on the 24/04/2023. Dr Kazmi was my surgeon. I decided to have LASEK as i do combat sports. I was extremly nervous about having the surgery done and this was made worse by reading some negativity elsewhere online. I had a number of phone calls with Giles and he was able to put my mind at ease, I probably wouldnt have gone through with it without Giles reassurance. I had my month check up today and I basically have 20/10 vision (2 lines better than 20/20). Which will only improve over the next couple of months. I found the first couple days pretty hard going with painful eyes and a feeling of having grit in them but this soon resolved and was on the way to recovery. I could not recommened Optical express enough from my experience again. Once again a big thank yot Giles and Ann at the Chester branch.”

“My first visit to this branch today, having used Chester and Llandudno before. This site has convenient on site reglazing. Mo conducted a professional vision test, the results of which concurred with my evidence. The majority of the front of shop ladies could have been members of a "girl band", and were proficient in their individual roles. I return in 1 week for new lense fitting.”
