“I first visited Janet Potter in 1991 having avoided the dentist for about 6 - 7 years through fear after having a couple of bad experiences as a child. Janet was really reassuring with me and gradually I became more comfortable with going to the dentist. I moved away from the area in 1997 and had to leave Janet Potter which I found very sad. In 2010 I returned to the area and came straight back to Janet Potter. I followed Janet Potter and her hygienist Gill Stagg to BUPA dental care where they continue to give me first class dental care in a reassuring manner. At my last appointment Janet Potter built up one of my lower canines I explained to her that I am still nervous about the drill and find the noise of the drill unnerving and asked if I could wear headphones and listen to music to help me relax. Janet explained to me that lots of people don't like the sound of the drill and I was welcome to listen to music. She queried what music I was listening to. Both Janet an her nurse were really reassuring throughout the appointment and kept me calm and relaxed right through the appointment.”
