Used to love coming here but my most recent visit will probably be my last due to the attitude and behaviour of one member of staff.
A slim man who I assume is either the owner or manager was going around changing all the old lightbulbs around the cafe - no problem with this but he then went behind the food and coffee counter and started making coffee for customers without washing his hands. He seemed to have come out of a works van as well so there's a lot of concerns there with food and hand hygiene. Similarly, the girls seemed to wear gloves constantly, handling money without changing gloves and then preparing food/coffee with the same gloves. I think some up to date training on hand hygiene and the use of gloves would be great.
This same guy's attitude was also awful - he stormed into the cafe with the volume up and the ego even louder, and immediately began reprimanding the staff in front of customers. I felt so sorry for the girls behind the counter, management need to learn to handle staff issues privately or at least discreetly where customers cannot overhear, and lead with respect not bravado

Best Coffee shop in Chester, been coming here for years now. The staff are amazing, real friendly bunch, shout out to Ben who is always smiling. Gluten free options available, nothing is too much trouble and they will look after you. Thanks guys x

Lovely spot for a breakfast and coffee. Coffee was high quality and the breakfast was clearly high quality and fresh ingredients.
Staff were nice. It was quiet early morning and then there was a bit of a rush that staff dealt well with. Definitely worth a visit for a coffee if you are in the area.

Whilst spending a few nights here in Chester with my Cheeky Chick we felt the need for a full English and found this little cafe. Very well presented and loved the tables and comfy chairs with the featured low ceiling all helps with the vibe well done with that love it. Service was great ordered the food and drinks which were brought over.
The breakfast was smashing I have never had a sausage so big, what a banger no time for photos too busy eating. This cafe has done well for me to do a review, so boys and girls IF you like a sausage on your plate with Girth then this place is for you, you won't be disappointed ??

The coffees that we had were lovely and very affordable compared to other Chester city centre cafes. However this was massively let down by the extremely rude girl on the till and the lack of dairy free butter/ spread - very unaccommodating for those with dairy intolerances/ vegans.

Amazing lunch yesterday! Greeted by a very friendly and lovely lady. Overall the place had a nice chilled atmosphere. Excellent service from friendly staff. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Nice vegetarian choice for my daughter who normally struggles to find options she likes. Mochas and hot chocolate were out of this world. If we didn't live far away we'd be here all the time!

We?ve been in a few breakfast cafes in Chester. This is one of the best yet. Good menu, great coffee and the service was excellent. Eggs cooked just right and the bacon was very tasty.
Not the cheapest but not dear for what you get. Recommended.
