We have been going to Chester Zoo for many years and absolutely love the place. All l can say is go, you won't be disappointed. Better experienced on a weekday as it's a little less on the busy side. There are plenty of options for food and drink on-site but bare in mind these can be rather expensive, so a picnic would be recommended if you want to save money as there are plenty of places you can set up for a picnic in the sun.
