I was helped today by a very nice helpful lady called Cynth in the Chester store.
I had a very old Advantage card and the app wouldn't let me enter the number to register it.
Cynth helped me apply for a new card and transferred my points to the new one. She was so pleasant, nothing was too much trouble.
She is a great asset to your company .

Ignored by counter assistant who said she did not see despite me being a foot taller that two preceding customers. Refused to sell me aspirin 75 - 1pack and nurofen plus-1pack in single transaction - said it was not alkowed but coukd not quote where thus advice came from. When asked if she was qualified to make this statement she tried to claim she was a pharmacist but wa not in fact on pharmaceutical register.. Felt utterly discriminated for being a man and non UK born . How can you trust such a service

I would love Boots to lead a campaign for the protection of babies and toddlers who are not wearing hats in the burning sun. Typically, the adult with these poor children are wearing sunglasses and a hat! Not only are the babies and toddlers at risk of sunburn they can also get heat stroke which can kill. Cover your babies up in their buggies, they don't want the glaring sun in their eyes.
Weirdly, I've seen dogs better looked after than some babies and toddlers which is appalling. Sun damage to the skin and eyes is real so children need to be protected.
Also this winter, freezing cold no hats, no gloves, no blankets ? poor babies they must be freezing!

Went to Chester whilst visiting on a coach trip from South Wales , very light bright and friendly store , had some excellent advice from Nikki on the Lancome counter , purchased items suggested and had lots of compliments from my fellow passengers!

I went in to look the shade options for a new brow gel (Anastasia Beverly Hills), the two I had wanted to compare online had missing testers (which happens, I get it, it?s retail). I asked a lovely employee if they had any others out and I could see (she worked on perfume) and she went to find someone who knew about that specific makeup brand.
The girl who came over was very unhelpful and said they not only did not have any other testers, no other way I could see the colours, but didn?t have either colours in stock. I was okay with this. I then looked around the store and came back to the counter to look at the brow pencil instead, as it looked like they had those in stock, and it was then when I noticed every single brow item had the same colour range (that?s all I had asked to see), so I could have just swatched that instead, which is what I ended up doing. I decided on a colour.
Having already been told there was none in stock, I approached another employee to ask if they could check other stores stock levels. She then promptly opened the locked drawer (which the original girl hadn?t even bothered to look in) and found an abundance of the original item I was looking for in the shade I had now decided on. I was incredibly grateful and appreciative, but rather confused why the original girl, who had been brought over especially because she knew about it didn?t give me any of this information.
The last person I spoke to was incredibly helpful, but it feels very hit or miss depending on who you approach.

Never give your disposable camera to Boots !!
I brought in a disposable camera for the pictures to be printed and waited 3 weeks for the photos. I went into the shop twice and was told both times that they hadn?t arrived yet even though it had surpassed the two week delivery time. I spoke to the store manager who reassured me that she would give me a call on Monday to update me with the tracking and apologised for the delay. 5:30pm on Monday and no call, I had to call Boots customer care for them to get a hold of the manager and they assured me that she would ring me in the next 10 minutes. I never got a call. I rang customer care again the next day and they told me that the photos had been delivered already and gave me a tracking number. I went into the shop today to pick up the photos, opened the package and they weren?t even my pictures !!! They were a complete strangers !!! Theresa was very lovely and helped me by calling the photo company herself and sorting the issue. I now have to wait 2-3 more weeks for the photos to be reprinted and sent to the store. Absolute disaster, I am devastated. Theresa and another lovely girl comforted me and helped me as much as they could, so thank you so much to them. I just wish this behaviour was mirrored by their store manager.

Just like to say a big thank you to one of your best and nicest staff ever her name was Donna, I was not feeling well and my partner made me go in boots, and lovely Donna took us in the back took my blood pressure, and sorted me out, and all was well, but you have the best employee I have ever seen, made me feel not as scared as when I went in. So thanks to Donna and boots xx
