I'd give no stars if I could, worst retail experience I've had in a long time. Bought item in sale and while it was explained to me I could only exchange within 14 days, it was not made clear that it was a partner store and exchanges could only be made with the limited stock in that store - no credit note option, no option to get stock from Barbour as seen on website. And when I finally found an exchange item, which I didn't really want, they wouldn't exchange as item was £2 less. Only option was to spend more to buy the cheapest item in the store at £9.99. This looks like a Barbour store, it is not!

My wife bought a barbour jacket last sat afternoon , and she was very pleased with the jacket and the service she recived in the shop . ??

Visited the shop on Wednesday and it was absolutely freezing that I couldn?t even stop and look at the clothing because of how cold it was! The poor staff members and other people shopping have to suffer in the cold, surely this doesn?t adhere to human standards

Bought two jackets from here a few years ago and both are still in great condition. Had to get one re-waxed due to an accident with my dog and the whole process was effortless. Will definitely shop here again .

Visited Barbour Chester on numerous occasions. Great choice of clothing available in store. The staff are a credit to the store - always go over and beyond what you need. Will be back soon!

Fantastic store. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have purchased a number of items from the store and been made to feel special at each occasion. The manger was only happy to go the extra mile when I requested and this made all the difference to my over all experience. I wouldn't even consider buying my outdoor clothing from anywhere else even though I need to travel to visit Chester. Prices are good and the sales are very much worth a visit. The range is extensive and available to try on. Well done Barbour Chester.
