We had the best experience we were really struggled to find the right paint and needed enough to do a hole house outside Paul the store manager took over helping nothing was too much trouble for him so helpful and we couldn't thank him enough it's a pleasure to shop in the chester b&q thanks to all the staff thete so polite and helpful

Really impressed with the guy that cut my mdf board for me on the 12th January I bought a piece of mdf board 8x4 foot which he cut into 2x4foot but then realised I wouldn't be able to get it in the car I told him what I needed the mdf board for which I am making a doll's house he then told me that if I bought the plans in that he would cut all the pieces for me which he did with no trouble.

Went into my local b&q yesterday for a new blade for my electric plane and nearly fell on the floor with the cost that they were charging £18.16 for two tho went to wickes right next door and got the same blades for £7.20 maybe in different packaging but do the trick .
So warning check prices with local shops because b&q are not

Made a call to the store about furniture as I couldn't find the type I needed and the lad wasn't arsed and just kept telling me to go online because he doesn't know anything. What a plonker. I had been online and had no luck. You would think he would familiarise himself with the stock he sells people. Plonker.

We popped in today to purchase wood to make a little ladder for the cat. We received fabulous service from young lad called Steve with great hair. Many thanks for your patience and for even cutting the wood. Please acknowledge Steve for his extra mile in customer care.

Lad who does it, knows absolutely nothing about anything to do with gardening! What they do and don't stock. Sizes of anything, how to install or what you need to install... he's basically frigging useless ???? don't bother

Used drinks machine outside B+Q on Sealand Road,machine accepted same card twice cost of £5-54 and o got no drink,only to be told the machines are not their responsibility,last time I ever shop at B+Q,very unhappy on a very warm dry day.

Been here 4 times now for the cutting service, no one is ever here to do it, ask staff when you can find one of the 5 who really only hang around the tills and they just shrug, not good.
