Staff do not seem to realise people picking up prescriptions have jobs . Every time I have a prescription from the doctors, I nip over after mt appointmemt to check if I can wait - usually to be told, leave it 4-5 hours before coming back. So you go home to come back 4-5 hours later and are told "oh its not ready yet come back in 2 hours", You then return 2 hours later to be told , oh some of its missing, come back tomorrow for the rest.
I dont think the staff realise people can't just keep leaving their jobs during the workday due to incompitent pharmacists - half of whom are usually chatting in the back in view of customers whilst the queue is backing up to the door.
I will just have prescriptions sent to the pharmacy in town in future, as although the extra trip is not ideal - atleast the staff respect your time and the prescriptions are preppared quickly - (they even answer the phone if you call to check whether your prescription is ready unlike this pharmacy).
Just to add - I have given this pharmacy the benefit of the doubt multiple times now before writing this review - this is the 4th time now in 4 visits (over 12 months) that I have had to jump through hoops and make multiple trips to get a prescription .

I was the only customer but the several staff just carried on private conversations with each other had to ask if someone would like to come and serve me.
Very poor customer service.

Since I've moved into the area, all the team at this pharmacy have made every effort to make every experience I've had easy, friendly and accurate.

We use this pharmacy quite often as it is next door to the doctors. However the waiting times are ridiculous. We have to wait over 20 minutes during each visit. I think they need more staff for such a busy business.

Absolutely fantastic service today after being fobbed of by merepark even tho explained how bad my face is and that I had to physically open my eye with me hand because swellings that bad.. lovely to know the staff here have common sense and cannot see the sense in sending me to a&e by ambulance as have no transport and wasting valuable resources absolutely fantastic offer off help the lot will be raising massive complaint with merepark.. these guys gave me what they could and numbing gel as impossible to get a emergency appointment with dentist

Was extremely surprised and disappointed to see the male pharmacist wearing his mask under his chinThe rest of the staff were all correctly wearing their PPE and maintained good social distancing rules.It is hoped that the gentleman in question is not a super spreader, breathing over all the boxes to be delivered to the vulnerable who are at home waiting for their meds to be delivered.As a retired nurse I really would expect a professional to be setting a better example.
