Staff was drinking beer while serving , floor looked like it never been cleaned , kids running round pub while you was eating, food was peppered out with seasoning. Overall a bad experience, would never go again .

Popped by for a pizza for dinner. Lad behind the counter was brilliant, even let me borrow a phone charger for a bit. Really great service.
Ordered the veggie pizza, it was ok at best. A bit too greasy for my liking, but had a good quantity of olives as toppings. A bit more finesse would go a long way!

Lovely pub, stopped by last week after a recommendation from a close friend while I was in the area, couldn’t fault the place. Met Really nice young man called George. (Think he might have been the manager) definitely be back, the steak frites were unreal.
Formerly trading as "The Oakwood". This Alderley Edge institution has now been saved from the fate besieged to too many a loved Public House and restored to its former glory with an ambitious renovation that pays homage to the public houses’ past spent serving the local community.
