The food today was amazing, huge portions, perfectly cooked and succulent meats and great value for money. We'll definitely be back 100%. Chef should be extremely proud highly recommend this quaint friendly pub.

We called in for an evening meal and all four of us enjoyed it. My own personal complaint would be it was an enormous plateful that I couldn't finish.

We were there with friends on the Saturday and a surprise birthday get together on the Sunday. The Sunday we had the roast dinner beautiful and plenty of it. Nice and hot

Dropped in for Sunday lunch at 3pm after visiting family in Wisbech. Lovely Sunday dinner roast beef with all the trimmings.. lovely cauliflower cheese...free glass of wine with your Sunday lunch..from the outside the pub doesnt look all that.. but its nice inside with a friendly atmosphere. Very clean including the toilets. Would return and recommend.

Found this pub whilst on a walk around the town and finding Elgoods Brewery, who do not have a tap room. The lady at the brewery
recommended the pub and I was served by a lovely young lady with a pint of Indian Summer. If you are in the area, try this pub. Didn't eat, but they had a lovely looking menu.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch. Catered for gluten free. Staff really helpful, great atmosphere. We had lunch in the beautiful beer garden, the weather was great and we had our dog. Would highly recommend.

My daughter couldn't order what she wanted and it would have been useful to know what was off the menu when we were given the menus.
The food was very nice. I had mushrooms with stilton and steak and kidney pudding. ENORMOUS portions. Only I finished my meal...lol.
It was OK. I wouldn't rush back you are guaranteed lots of wholesome food if you do visit.

Very good value for money, the dishes are huge, typical pub grub with some specials alongside. They're definitely aimed at meat eaters. My disappointment is that the mains are so big there's only enough room for that dish, whereas we like a dessert by choice but there was just no way. I'd happily have a smaller main to leave room for pud.
Parking: Car park to the rear and some on street parking Infront of the pub.
