My mum and I had appointments at the same time and went in together. When we arrived, no one was at reception to check us in. We waited about five minutes, called for help, and were told someone would be down ?shortly.? After more waiting, a staff member finally appeared.
The eye tests themselves were fine, but the service afterwards was poor. My mum needed help choosing bifocal lenses and asked the assistant for advice. Instead of helping, the assistant stayed at her desk and just said, ?choose any.? After waiting another 30 minutes, my mum was then told the glasses she had chosen weren?t suitable. Eventually another staff member just picked a pair for her.
She was told her glasses would be ready in two weeks, but when she went back only one pair was available?she is still waiting for the other.
We have used the Harlow branch before, which runs like a well-oiled machine. Wisbech was the complete opposite. Very disappointing experience?we will be going to Vision Express next time.
UPDATE- After the third week of waiting and still not ready we got a refund for the glasses as this was now the end of my bad experience. I don?t know if Specsavers as a company have dropped their standards or the store?s management team are poor, at least I won?t have to experience this again.

Came in to get my glasses repaired today as I am not good at looking after them.
Chris helped me, explained everything and was incredibly swift at getting my glasses fixed. Very warm and friendly gentleman who made me feel very at ease. I have anxiety and panic attacks which make leaving the house difficult and embarrassing, but his professionalism and easygoing approach meant a lot to me.
Highly recommended.

Can't type a repeat of what I just entered on the Specsavers form, it will take too long with one finger. Suffice it to say, welcoming, courteous, polite and efficient. Highly recommended.

Really dissatisfied with Specsavers, having broken the arm of my favourite reading glasses which I bought from them in 2022. I was told they no longer stock the frames and I would have to buy a new pair. This happened previously about five years ago with a different pair of glasses that were constantly breaking and needing repair. My gripe with them is they are constantly changing their frames without considering that customers may need to get older frames repaired. ????
