I can?t believe how terribly I was treated at Asda Wisbech Pharmacy today myself and my mother have used it for over 11 years always been happy with the service until the last few times I?ve had my prescription that had less medication than ordered or it wasn?t ready when they have had lots of notice, so I went in today and spoke to a dark haired lady I haven?t seen before, I was told they don?t have my mothers (no idea why) but mines there but I can?t get it until after 5, it was just after lunchtime, I told the dark haired lady that I don?t drive and it?s another long walk (my mother is over 80 years old) she didn?t see my mum sitting on the chair, I said I need it as I?m going away the next day and said my last few had been messed up, to which i was told if you don?t like it you can go somewhere else then
I was silent for a moment as I was shocked then I said I will do after my holiday as I couldn?t believe how rude she was, to which she replied well I can do it for you now and send back your medication, I felt like she was threatening me like I was a child or something, her tone was patronising I said I?m going on holiday tomorrow so no your not to send them back, she then said well I?m just saying, it?s like she was goading me trying to have the last word, I just walked off, I hate going to the supermarket it makes me really anxious anyway and to be spoken to so rudely by someone with a disgusting attitude makes me never want to go there again, I can?t find anywhere to make an official complaint about this woman but I will keep searching, if you can?t speak civilly and threaten to ?send back? someone?s medication so they can?t have it knowing they need it for the next day you shouldn?t be working in a health department of any store, I?m within my rights to say that the last few orders had been wrong I didn?t raise my voice or use profanity?s or anything if that makes her behave so obnoxiously then she needs some customer training. I will be taking this further she obviously doesn?t understand the difficulties some people face just going into a store and how her behaviour can have a really detrimental impact on someone else, my mother heard it all and was also shocked at how rude she was. I changed to this pharmacy as the service was outstanding and really quick. I can only assume it's fallen under new management in the past few weeks (Feb 2024) The staff are horrendously slow or tell you a prescription is ready, when in fact they don't even have it. The general demeanour of the staff is of total disinterest. They spend ages out back while queues grow longer and seem completely unfazed by it. Other customers that were present were visibly annoyed and appalled on the last 2 occasions I was there. There were 3 staff and a pharmacist in the back serving one person. They were all working on the same issue/customer. I waited 20 minutes to be asked if they could help me. By then, there were about 8 people waiting. Some left in a huff.Awful service. I'll be changing pharmacy. Such a shame as the previous pharmacy and ladies were amazing and so friendly.
