A wait of 40 minutes is unacceptable considering no one had ordered a meal before us.
The lamb rump with aubergines was very greasy. The lamb was not tender. A lack of staff is obviously impacting on overall service. Disappointing considering a very pleasant venue

Excellent Pub. Despite being ?in the middle of nowhere? - this is was just excellent. this was such a friendly welcoming pub & the staff were excellent! Couldn?t recommended anymore if you?re travelling through Cambridge.
The beer garden is amazing too, big, spacious & just overall a delight to relax in.
If you?re in Cambridge, whether you?re getting off the station that is located here, or just passing by > make sure to visit this pub!

I had a wonderful stay. The staff were fantastic and the food was the best I had for quite sometime. I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Grace and Abbi were awesome.

The staff who served me, Stella and Nancy, were very welcoming. The pub/shop is well located by the train station.

I?ve eaten here a few times before and always enjoyed it. Concerned at the ?under new management? sign. I was right to be. I ordered penne with tomato and pepper ragu. Penne substituted out for spaghetti. No mention that the ragu was full of chillies, that I dislike intensely. No apology*, but they did at least serve me a replacement meal, after offering me the same dish but with fewer chillies. *One free beer is not good enough.

Great venue for a christening , amazing food and a lovely staff . Went above and beyond to create the best menu and ambience.
The new owner is doing a great job. It's definitely worth a stop there anytime.

What an absolute fantastic place,the staff are lovely and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I can?t comment on the rooms as I?m only a truck driver that?s parked nearby for the night but what a fantastic place. I?ll definitely come back here anytime I?m passing.
