Probably the best Wetherspoons around. Very clean. Pretty decent food and staff friendly. It's also very quiet at breakfast time which is good. Would definitely recommend.

Nice pub, very busy as the sun was shining. Bit of a wait at the bar to get served. Difficult to get a seat out the front so we could sit in the sun.

Nicely situated ion the town square. Plenty of tables inside and several outside (weather permitting). Food was served speedily. Food and plates hot. Cheerie bar staff and servers. Clean and spacious toilets.
Ample parking in car park and local streets.
Worth a visit but take note it?s NOT a hotel!

A review of multiple visits...sometimes you get everything on the large breakfast that's listed, sometimes they forget the eggs or the mushroom or the bacon or the butter. It's like a game of bingo sometimes you shout 'house', you have everything you should...other times...NOT... Or you can play the search game...colder cold...tepid...warm hot or very hot for the food temperature...again random on the same plate...consistency of a staple menu item or breakfast seems a challenge...some weeks spot on other weeks I'd expect to see Gordon Ramsey popping out and shouting ' close this place down'... You may be lucky you may not...it's like the chef rolls the dice and says not today PUNK...
